Mafia #51 - Mafia Citizens - The Play

Last minute self preservation? To make sure others didn't have time to think out their votes? That doesn't sound fishy?

To the best of my memory I have not been in a position to where I voted to save myself. But if I ever were, unless I was sure the candidate I was voting off was a mucs I would have taken the lynch or the tie. Kashta made no indication that she ever suspected Zigman, not even at the time of her vote.

Somehow I highly doubt that...but I guess we wont know until the situation arises.

I agree she never suspected or indicated she suspected Zig, but if she is Pro Town then letting herself go down is losing a Townie, whereas saving herself leaves a shot at getting a Baddie. She said she had just gotten on the comp and was catching up, so it was only a last minute change because a candidate finally presented themselves that she could effectively vote on to save herself very near Nightfall. Again this is going on a good deal of faith on her part, but I don't believe saving yourself at any time is a scum-tell.

Somehow I highly doubt that...but I guess we wont know until the situation arises.
If I were such a suspicious player that the majority of the town was out to lynch me then I would not want to buy myself another day of suspicion at the cost of someone who I didn't believe to be a Scum. Maybe I just have a different way of looking at things.

Like I have said it is the timing of her vote. It did not leave time for others to switch.

Maybe that's because Colers official vote on Zig didn't come until a whopping 4 minutes before nightfall. She got hers in only 2 minute later. I guess we should expect Kash to have fortune telling powers then?

I would hardly call the lynching a majority. And for all we know Kash could actually be a good PR, who we woudln't want gone.

Whos up for running a tie between Plant and the next suspect to see if she jumps? LOL.

Ok, long post so I bolded what jumped out at me, admittedly because it involved me.

Kashta, you said this in that post I referred too:

So either you were baiting TRS into admitting he got a PM or you yourself got one and forgot that the citizens did not. However, the last sentence really speaks to the last situation as you really are saying that all we know is the role we got from JL. Except not everyone got a PM.

Secondly, I did not make the connection between that post and you posting before the game started. Ice said it first in post #96. I posted based solely on what you said to TRS. Don't try to twist things against me here...

Jpappy, there's no twisting being done by me and there's no reason for me to lie.

In that long post of mine you bolded 2 sentences. In neither sentence did I say you made a connection between that post and me posting before the game started. What I said was this:

First bolded line:
"It "appears" that I received a PM because (1) jpappy made that suggestion when he was speculating about my comment to Red Severum back on Page 1."
You are the one who first suggested I must have gotten a PM... which is what I said in my post (Reference your post #86).

Second bolded line:
"See what I mean? Red's statement didn't jive with the timeline at all. And neither does jpappy's "guessing" that I posted early after receiving a PM from JL."
Red's statement didn't hold up to the actual timeline of events. Even Madcrawdad has had to (reluctantly) admit this. Furthermore, you speculating that I must have received a PM from JL doesn't fit given the actual timeline either.

Now you say I'm lying because I tried to correlate the two together. But nowhere in that post or the 2 bold lines you extracted did I make such a correlation.

Kashta you are putting word into my mouth. I ONLY said that you forgot that not all of us got PMs therefore you are likely a PR based on you telling TRS that he should only know what he got in that PM. Ice then said that it then made sense that you posted early. I DID NOT make that connection, Ice did. So you saying that I somehow made a big deal about you posting before the game started is a complete lie.

Where have I said you made a connection between the two? I didn't. Where have I said you made a big deal out of it? I didn't say that either. I said you made a suggestion and were speculating (see bolded line #1). And you did. I also said that your guessing that I posted early after getting a PM. Which you did.

Like I have said it is the timing of her vote. It did not leave time for others to switch.
Why?

Somehow I highly doubt that...but I guess we wont know until the situation arises.
Same here I highly doubt your planning plant.

lol...that sounds logical....but you have to consider plants move to be scummy and I am sorry but who wouldn't save their selves esp if they were innocent. Only a scum wouldn't want to save theirself.

After the last few posts byt plant I retract my vote on TRS and I VOTE TO LYNCH PLANT

Definitely of interest, but a few things I'm considering:

Plantling's vote for her second candidate (saying that there were enough votes on Kashta) was a bad move, plain and simple. The thing is, I've seen others do the same thing, as town. I don't understand why, but they do it... Last game, Noodles (Communicating Innocent) did the same thing and I (as scum) was able to exploit it a little bit to help make her look scummy. So, I would need to see additional bad behavior from Plantling before voting her. Her last-minute, albeit late, vote change to Kashta was slightly redeeming.

Mad you admit to exploiting little things like last minute vote changes last game to make people look scummy. How can I be sure you aren't doing the same thing this time with Kash? Also how can you be confident of your vote with company like plantling and red? Both, in my book, right now are looking more and more suspicious. Neither have real good explainations for their vote. Plantling says her vote is based on Kash's last minute vote to save herself. (I am not sure how I woulda reacted in Kash's place) Am I supposed to believe that if I am lynched I should just take one for the team and doing anything other than that is considered anti-town? Red still seems to just have some weird personal vedetta against Kash since we were beat last game. Sorry, but just because she was a "bad guy" last time isn't a good reason for a vote this time around. Thoughts?

My guess is that kashta is a PR as she forgot that not everyone got a PM from JL with their role. Doesn't help much but I'm thinking for now that it puts her towards the "not a citizen" side.
Kashta show me where in this post I "speculate" that you posted early because you got a PM. I don't seem to see it...

Why?

On the contrary to your bolded statement above, Scum have more to lose so yes they will want to save themselves at any cost, especially when they know the other candidate is an innocent.

Ok, I am yet to see a good explanation of why plant tried to change last minute. A lot of excuses and a lot of fumbling going on...almost like they are back peddling. Only a person of scum and high power in my opinion would not back their decision, a laying low move IMO. Trying to not say too much and place blame on Kash as everyone seems to be doing. Red is still on my suspect list but plant seems to be hiding a whole lot and now laying low...typical of scum

I think I posted wrong in my last post so I wan to get it correct....

I retract my vote on TRS and
I VOTE TO LYNCH PLANT
