This is such a pretty plant, has anyone try it in their tank yet? how is the root system look? Sounds like it require high light.

It's a really attractive plant from the top, but that's probably not the view you'll be getting of it.
yeah, and that's exactly what i'm trying to find out, how good the view is from the bottom up.
Well I have no idea. From the photos, I would guess it's a bit ugly from underwater.
Maybe you should put in a pond for it!

the bottom is just stems and roots, not to pretty unless you have a wild look or can hide the stems with other plants and put it in the back of the tank. the top is the pretty part its a pond plant really. looks great in ponds to
I thought so too, although it's sold in one of the online aquarium plant store, so i thought i just ask
ahh... thats why its called a floating plant! Any floating can't be seen unless you are looking down on it.... frogbit, duckweed, red rooter whatever! If you have an open top aquarium, you can appreciate them more.
