ive got a crapload of driftwood that i would like to clean. what do i do with it? some of it is really big and there are some small peices. what do you recomend i do?

also. i have a filter that used to be on a saltwater setup and i would like to clean it to use for FW. what do i do to it?

for small peices should i dip it and let it sit? and instead of scrubbing can i use a high pressure washer?
and for big peices do i pour the water over it or what?

Boil the Driftwood for a few hours
The filter you can rinse out real good and change ALL media and you'll be good to go

for a few hours???? crap this is gonna take awhile. what do i do for the big peices then that i cant fit? and im guessing this should be done outside.

what should i boil it in???

You might not need to boil them. If you collected them yourself I would for sure. Otherwise a high pressure wash with scrubbing might be enough.
i collected them myself
