No, I'll get it tomorrow. There will be a lot of bacteria build up in that tank & even the silicone. I wouldn't take any chances. Do you have the fish yet?

K.You can't get the fish until your tank is cycled. That can't happen in one day, unless you use Tetra Safestart. Add it directly to your filter.
I know. I already added a rotting cricket. Also, sadly, my fish store can't hold fish and the sale ends Sunday so by the time my tank is done either the only puffers in there will be the sickly ones that cost slightly more or there won't be any figure 8s in there at all and I'll have to buy online.I read in the link that it should take ten days. This also applies to 20 gallon tanks with one rotting cricket in there, right?Of course it's 0, all you've added is water.

I actually now know why everyone is telling me to cycle my tank. I realized yesterday that even when I get the fish, the nitrites and nitrates will still be crazy. But if I can't get the fish by the end of the sale, my dad dosen't want to buy it online.Just from reading the last two pages of this thread, the situation doesn't look promising. Don't rush the process of getting the tank cycled correctly. don't just go out and buy fish because the sale is ending soon either. you and them will be much happier if you are prepared for them. sometimes spending the extra means the whole difference
Your water params should not be crazy when adding fish to an already cycled tank.I actually now know why everyone is telling me to cycle my tank. Okay. But they had A LOT of healthy small puffers in there, so I shouldn't be worried.Your water params should not be crazy when adding fish to an already cycled tank.
I agree, do not rush the purchase. If you have to wait, wait. Ask your LFS about special ordering. They might be able to get some in for you soon even after they run out.
