I purchased an electric blue ram for $30 plus $15 for shipping.. it is eating TONS and growing great.. which leads me into the problem, it's beating up my longfin rams! unacceptable! I do believe this is a female.. or a very late blooming male as she is certainly the size of my other rams.. if not bigger and has no longer dorsal fins. The bottom line.. she needs a new home, I am asking $40 shipped priority

Please forgive my photo taking abilities! My goodness this fish would not sit still.. but here are some pics anyway =)

That's a female. By the looks of it in the second picture you have a male that is interested in her so I don't know why you are getting rid of her. I'd separate them into their own tank and do a water change. I can see some of her ovipositor so if you did do a water change with cooler water I'd expect to see eggs within a couple of days.

they look way better in person. wish i had the money to get her.

I have 17 lf rams in that tank and she chases every one of them, to the point that they hardly come out.. not even the males can get close to her, one of my females is missing a chunk out of her tail and I'm "fairly" sure that it wasn't the tetras lol of all these lf's I have never seen any agression.. maybe some mild chasing but only for a maybe a cpl inches.. this girl.. she chases them half way across the tank.. my plans were to get a male to go with her but I can't have them tearing up the other ones if this is the kind of attitude they have lol and the only other tank I have available right now is a 10g.. I don't think that's enough.. but I do know someone who is SURE he has a male electric.. maybe I should rethink.. I don't know.. I just hate to see my fish getting tormented like this =(

Maybe if you move everything around in the tank? I've heard that can help, b/c then she won't feel like its HER territory she has to defend.
