Baby Blue peacock!

Thank you ibr3ak i was thinking the same thing that looks like an afra poss jalo reef varient not a peacock for sure at any rate you fry is most likely going to be a hybrid.. afra and yellow labs can breed together and the fry is taking more of the afra traits in color and morph.. the auratus could be maingano, johanni or auratus not sure the photo is too blurry..

It seems like a male M. auratus appears on a pic. I agree that there is no peacock but possibly a C. afra variant. Also, I agree with Coler about the presence of a Nimbochromis livingstonii in the tank.

yeppers those are most likely afras but definitely mbuna and not peacocks (which is good bearing in mind the other inhabitants and size tank) - very nice looking tank.

Great pic of the little fellow too.

That's definitely not a peacock, looks like a possible c. afra of some kind (mbuna), try to take a better pic of it's side for a better id.
The big blue one? Ill try and get a shot tonight.

As do I, he came in a "mixed bag" and the fiance liked his spots...and I didnt do the research I should have. I think I may be lucky though, hes about a year old and is deffinately the most docile fish in the tank...though he may have eaten the rest of the fry from what im finding.
Thanks guys!
