Nothing says Ice was limited to picking only you if he decided to choose the Lead Vampire player this time. Even if this isn't random, he was still free to pick anyone he wished and for whatever reason he may have had. Whether he did or didn't, it's dang near impossible for us to guess who his pick might be if that's all we look at. That's only part of everything else we should consider when deciding our votes.

What I've said all along is we shouldn't ignore this as an option. Ice is apt to do just about anything and we all know that. For us to conclude the LV role was made strictly at random and not ALSO CONSIDER other possibilities at the same time is foolish and blind-sighted.

Since you have studied the older vampire games where Ice has modded, who did he hand pick to be LV in the past? Maybe that can help us all.

I will join you on Zaffy and see if you even stay on Zaffy. If Zaffy comes up vampire, then I will be pretty sure you are the LV and Zaffy was not just saving their own rear, but yours too.

I don't think you will let Zaffy go and will switch off.

I retract my vote on Kash and vote to stick a stake into Zaffy.

If others are willing to vote Kash or make it a tie, I will switch back.

From the time I answered John's post asking what I thought of Ice's random/not random roles, he sat there for an hour and a half saying nothing. Still covering his arse in case the 3-way tie resulted in my death instead of DD or Zaffy.. knowing his vote on me would track right back to him. Now that I'm alive for another day and it's safe to come after me again.. John's switched right back to where he was before.

Six full minutes elapsed between the time Zaffy switched his vote to save himself which killed DD and took me off the hook in the process. That's plenty of time for John to connect Zaffy and me working together if that's what he actually believes.

It would've been easy then for John to switch his vote off me (since I was safe then anyway) in time to save DD and nail Zaffy instead. If we're both vampires he would've saved an innocent (DD) and taken at least one of his 2 lead suspects out of play at the same time.

John's so certain (again) that I'm a vampire, yet before nightfall he backed off suspecting me... before that he acknowledged that he'd misread my post and his earlier vote for me wasn't solid after all.... then what did John do? He left his vote on me anyway. John's been saying one thing but doing another too much in this game not to be suspected.

Nice way to cover your butt, John, for someone who knows who all the innocents are. All three of us are probably innocent so you conveniently avoided any backlash taking this approach.

I see one problem with this...was JL around during that 6 minute timeframe? I dunno, because I wasn't so don't know if he was viewing the thread but what I do see is that he posted two hours before nightfall and then an hour after. Seems like an awful large space to be around but not post....:huh:

Not to mention that would have left it as a 4-4 tie after Zaffy went to DD and JL went to Zaffy. A 50/50 between DD and Zaffy so in no way could he have guaranteed lynching Zaffy and saving DD last night...
 
My suspect list for now includes Johnlarson (tops the list) followed by Zaffy, Zsand, and I don't know who else at this point. There are too many possibilities at the moment for me to narrow this down without going through everything all over again.

As for Coler, he's off my suspect list now. If Coler was a vampire he knows exactly who was innocent. He'd already established his suspicion for both me and DD and he's savvy enough as a player to vote either one of us without getting nailed himself the following night for staking an innocent by mistake.

In Zaffy's case, we're left to decide if he switched to save himself (as he claimed) or if this means he's a vampire. I've done a last-minute vote/change to save myself only one time before....... but I was on the mafia side that game and that's why I did it. Every other time I've been in the lead or tied for lynching I've accepted my game was done.

Had I been one of 2 vampires tonight... sure, I would've switched my vote as a last resort and taken Zaffy out instead. Then just come up with some excuse and deal with the repercussions. With only 2 vamps the first night they can't afford the loss yet.

When you're not on the scum side it doesn't matter. There's nothing to hide. Even a dead innocent leaves behind clues the others can use to track down scum. If that doesn't clear me in some way for some of you there's not much else that would.

Yet he voted neither of you despite being his suspects...you say John is scummy for not taking the chance to vote Zaffy, one of his suspects, yet Coler did the exact same thing by throwing a random vote but you are giving him the pass? How the heck does that work Kash?

You may be right, Jpap. I don't know either so disregard this. There's a lot yet to figure out now, but I'm working on it.
 
So far I have my suspects as:

Coler-already stated why
Kash-the stuff about the handpicking, what role she would be given, and then the bickering with Coler...not sure what to make of it all yet. I don't agree with most of what she is saying, but that obviously does not automatically make her mafia
Ogre-The drama earlier today seemed a little staged
Rocker-too quiet. Characteristic of last game where he popped in and voted but I still find that style of gameplay highly suspicious

Not great, but I can work with it...
 
Honestly, I think the drama between Kashta and Coler is nothing. Or at least shows nothing conclusive other than a bickering. Guilty or innocent? It doesn't say much.

Sure, we need to keep an eye on both- but the name that has been looking suspicious to me from this is JohnLarsson who seems to be constantly egging it on. I noticed that yesterday and he's still complaining about the lead vampire situation and how she suggested he might be a hand picked vet. JL, also seems to be gunning against whoever the leading candidate is- as if to say "I don't care who we get off- let's just take the lead person out".

When Kash was most likely off he was trying to off her- now Zaff is leading candidate he has switched over to Zaff despite still claiming to be certain Kash is a vampire.



As for Zaffy- he was saving his own bacon- there is a case for this for either an innocent or a guilty party so it doesn't really say anything.

Ogre made a point yesterday (sorry for lack of quotes, late for work) about the real vampire probably being someone laughing at the bickering between Kash and Coler. This struck me almost as irony as if Ogre knew something we didn't and was underhandedly saying he was laughing at us.

He then went on to list people who have been relatively quiet as possible vamps... but left himself off that list.
