Mafia 54:Vampires Return (The Play)

Plus she is Canadian.

Did someone say Poutine? After the Canadian quarter and Shania Twain, Poutine is the greatest of all things to come out of Canada.

Not so odd, John... you're both evil.

I'll respond to your post later.. so you can stop poking me with your stick for the rest of the night. This game makes my head hurt. I'm tired and will be calling it a night soon.

More tomorrow...

I guess it's obvious that Zaffy saved his own arse that time.

The ones I find more interesting are COler, RB, Zsand, Annie, and Dawg as they all voted singleton... especially Coler and Dawg who voted pretty late in the day.

Well, I really didn't see a case for any of the three, but in perfect hindsight I should have made my stand with the other villagers. If I had switched votes to one of the three, I would have switched to DD, which would put me knee deep in scummy right about now. I'm not convinced Kashta is scum, maybe I'm wrong, but it seems to me she would not draw so much heat to herself if she were. I will put my vote there if thats what the concensus is.

Zaffy I tend to believe is innocent. Again, I may be wrong. The late vote change is highly suspect, however I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing were I in his shoes. It makes sense to me that his efforts were to save the only person he knows is innocent, and that he felt he was doing what was best for the village. I suppose the only way to know for sure is to hang Kashta. If she is a vamp, then Zaffy will share her fate.

I vote to stake Kashta.

As I think about it, it seems Kashta does like to live on the edge, and even as a vamp, she would have to maintain this style of play in order to look as though nothing is out of the ordinary...

Anyone that thinks Kash is a vampire can't be half bad. I am okay with her coming back, my guess is that she will get turned (by Kash).
I half think this is a joke but if not why would the vamps try to turn a known innocent when they could get a PR instead? Just sayin...

JL's grilling of Kash is making me nervous but at the same time Kash's reasoning this game has been completely offbase...

It might be worth making it a Kash/Zaffy race to see what comes of it.

Basically do we want to risk losing an innocent to the lynch and then to the turn vs. possibly finding the first two vamps? I'm not sure if its the right move at this point but I am willing to see arguments for either side.

John, you've been playing both sides against the middle more than usual this time. Even when you're scum, you at least pretend to help the town/village way more than this.

I am okay with giving Zaffy a break on this and don't like all the people jumping on Zaffy about them saving their own neck. I sure wish the coin toss went the other way.

I have been evil with DD and even communicating innocent with her and most of the times she skims the rules worse than me.

Now if Kash comes up as a vamp, then I will be all over Zaffy.

I vote to stick a steak into Kashta

If John felt so strongly that DD was innocent all this time where's his post saying so BEFORE she died instead of waiting until it was too late to finally speak his mind?

Six full minutes elapsed between the time Zaffy switched his vote to save himself which killed DD and took me off the hook in the process. That's plenty of time for John to connect Zaffy and me working together if that's what he actually believes.

It would've been easy then for John to switch his vote off me (since I was safe then anyway) in time to save DD and nail Zaffy instead. If we're both vampires he would've saved an innocent (DD) and taken at least one of his 2 lead suspects out of play at the same time.

John's so certain (again) that I'm a vampire, yet before nightfall he backed off suspecting me... before that he acknowledged that he'd misread my post and his earlier vote for me wasn't solid after all.... then what did John do? He left his vote on me anyway. John's been saying one thing but doing another too much in this game not to be suspected.

Nice way to cover your butt, John, for someone who knows who all the innocents are. All three of us are probably innocent so you conveniently avoided any backlash taking this approach.

Kash, since you were saved from a coin toss by Zaffy, I have a question for you.

Zaffy saved his own hide and you know it. He did that either out of selfish newbie impulse or because his scummy vamp partner couldn't afford to lose half their team yet this early in the game. Either way, it had nothing to do with me. Take it up with him.
