Mafia 54:Vampires Return (The Play)

Sorry.. didn't finish that thought. I meant to add that they're not going to put themselves in a position now where they'll need to do something at the last minute to protect each other. There's only 2 of them and there's a lot of innocents to hide among.

True Kash, although last night they probably couldn't have predicted that with most of the votes in- JM and ZSand would be the two leading candidates. JM's lack of a vote does concern me a little- by waiting late to vote if he were the vampire he could protect himself without it looking like protection.

ZSand on the other hand is in a bit of a pickle- because if he switches to JM now- he'll be looked at as suspicious for "switching late on" to "protect himself"- and yet if he doesn't- then guilty or innocent- he is leaving himself in danger which would be bad for the team.

I think the vamps with numbers as low as two may have to resort to protecting themselves. If we vote one off and I happen to investigate the other tonight they could be an extinct species.

There are a lot of innocents left- but I do think they might try to protect each other- it may not be obvious- but I think they will help each other if they can.

Knowing JL anyone of us would have picked him first he is a great player, we would not have him now except for WY coming out. I know he, jpap or Coler would be my choice.

So we have jpap, jl working for who? I wish I knew the answer to that question. I think JM is on the team not the boss.

Exactly, Rich.

Also if it's any indication who they're targeting, the failed turns were Rbishop and Dawg. Both are very strong players.

If they have a newb or a low activity player on the team already, that's someone they can hide the Lead Vamp title on when one of the more active vamps get caught. That's a delaying tactic because it takes us a long time to lynch the right one.

To give them the best advantage, they're hoping to turn any of the PR roles they can get. If they get Wycco, he'll start feeding us WRONG investigation results. The priest would protect the vamp in most danger that day and would stop us from staking the LV. The hunter on their side can take out an extra villager any time it suits them.

I'm not going to vote JM because I haven't seen any real reason to suspect he is a Vamp. I really want to vote for Zaffy but I can't back up why with posts or words. And I have a dog training class tonight so I am going to miss Night. If JM and I are both Villagers I do no good making them be lynched over me, especially with how crappy I've played this round.

All this trouble is because of my frakkin' internet being out. If I'd been around I'd of switched back to Pappy (who I never should of moved off of) and the Village wouldn't be wasting time looking at me so hard.

Sigh, I vote to stake Zaffy.

My reading of the rules the Priest can only protect from the Vamp Hit/Bite and the Hunter's Arrow. So even if they turn the Priest the worst case is they block the Hunter. The bad part is they wouldn't protect Wycco from the Vamps any longer.

That's what I mean, Wycco. I don't how much time you have to re-read the thread... but also look at who's alive now who put those two on the list or who's influenced the rest of us to join on. The 2 vamps are either keeping quiet so we overlook them or they're helping us pick the wrong suspects.

Well Ogre put me up for the vote. Annie rode his coattails, and Wycco has tried to deduce a suspect, landing on me. If I'm lynched tonight look long and hard at Ogre tomorrow. I didn't see JL for what he was so I'm likely missing a case for Ogre as well. He really hasn't been on my short list and really isn't even now but going on the trend of turned vamps and Hits: JL, JPappy, Rb, Dawg... I'd say Ogre is a likely Turn if he isn't already a Vamp. He is the most established player still in the game. Of the three on me though Annie is the one with the least reason to be there. I scare her apparently or something... I'm also curious why Zaffy or Rocker aren't on me since I have been after them all game.

Does the priest/hunter/seer continue having his powers if he is turned after day 2? I'll have to go back and read- I thought the special roles only kept their powers if turned in the first 2 days.

Obviously the priest is not a vampire or I would have been dead. If they got the priest I'd be dead (or turned) the next night- but I don't think they could protect the Lead Vamp could they?

I'll have to go back and read.

Yes, they keep their powers and work for the vamps instead of us.
