New RCS! and some questions

Agree with what has been said so far.
I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has actually seen eggs hatching - I think females might hide when this is happening.
As far as catching them, if you mean catching the newly-hatched babies, that would be VERY hard. If you mean older ones, wait till feeding time, when they will all cluster around a piece of food, and nab them then - move the net slowly. Shrimp don't seem to grasp the concept of a net, and avoid it the way fish do.

I've seen RCS eggs being hatched before. One of my berried females was walking across the sand and just wiggled a little as a shrimp dropped from the underside and swam away. They seemed to be released one by one.

When the eggs are about to hatch, they are clear and you can see little black dots which are their eyes. I believe it typically takes 2-3 weeks for eggs to hatch once saddled/berried.

I've heard that about the eyes, but I've never been able to see them.
