The process just needs to be simplified 3 appeals within 2 years and if all 3 fail then fry and yes I do mean fry the suckers within 48 hours of the last appeal failure. Yes we may take a few innocent people along the way but I bet people would think twice before doing a crime that could get them fried if they knew it would be over quickly.

It would certainly make room in the prison system! Good idea!

I feel your sentiments might apply to the majority as a deterrent, but those bent on doing similar will not. In their twisted mind they believe that they won't get caught, rules don't apply to them, and that they are justified in their actions. Nothing will convince them that they are wrong.

I have found that most see themselves as victims, victims of society, poor parenting and a host of many other things. They tend to lay blame for their actions at the feet of other instead of where it belongs. I do however feel as though justification and vindiction would be better served by seeing these people spend the rest of their lives locked away instead of being dead. When you are dead you no longer have to live with knowing that you will never be able to see those you love again but when incarcerated you have to live with that misery day in and day out, the same as the misery that was caused to the loved ones of the victims.

Not when I have to pay for their lodging and meals for 30 years. Hook up the red and black and hit the switch. When you are dead you no longer have to live with knowing that you will never be able to see those you love again but when incarcerated you have to live with that misery day in and day out, the same as the misery that was caused to the loved ones of the victims. I have a hard time believing that some psycho is suddenly going to feel guilt and misery after committing a cold and heartless crime like this

I know what it DOES do to tax payer wallets, so why should we be burdoned with sustaining them. They took/take away lives who could have been assets to society, and then we're supposed to house and feed them for 30 years or more? I don't think so.

we need to re-evaluate "cruel and unusual" on a case by case basis and bring back ALL forms of the "death penalty". if it's been done before someone will do it again. why is it they (the criminals) can do what they please to us yet we (the people) cannot vote or suggest means to irradicate such criminals without limits. there is no limits in the human mind except those we impose on ourselves. i think in many cases the family of the victims should be able to choose (without question or restriction) how the offender gets to die. the only exception should be it must not be "cruel AND unusual" in comparison to the original offense. for instance for someone to brutally murder several people there should be no limits. if someone were to shoot someone in the head... well the death should be atleast almost as quick and painless.

those who's sentence is life and were sentenced "beyond reasonable doubt" should not be catered to. meals, electricity, clothing, etc. should not be handed out and the bill forced on the taxpayer.

imo some of the capitol punishments for minute crimes are absolutely heinous. punishment for rapists and murderers on the other hand are a joke. think about it, they don't even have to fend for themselves and they're protected by prison walls sometimes for life. it's unbelievable imo.

i voted no. not that a killer shouldn't be killed. just that it should not be anymore humane than they did it and tax payers shouldn't have to foot the bill for such facilitations.

Last time I checked Death Row inmates were seperated from general pop and have there own areas and never see anyone else. We should have brought back firing squads just for him.

i seriously disagree with them not being protected. there are a lot of things that can happen "on the outside" that have to wait until they get out. granted there are some people who fall into categories that can't be protected "on the inside". murderers aren't typically in that category. child abusers yes, murderers... not necessarily.

i have prison guards and murderers in my family. it has been that way as long as i can remember. i get the story from both sides of the fence "on the inside". i can tell you stories that originate from federal, state, county, city and local prisons. they are all obviously second hand so i'll spare the details.

i was also beaten to death's edge as a child. the guy who did it was locked up and transfered into the prison my sisters godfather was the head warden at. i will spare you any details but i will tell you he didn't look so good at his court date and that he was deathly afraid of getting out. he knew better.
