Apistos in a community tank?

I think it was the "orange flash" on this page. I have seen gold rams before, and while gorgeous, this was definitely different.

oh yea, those are very nice, my LFS don't have them, I wanted to get a better loook at them. My LFS only have the gbr

Would apistos work in a tank with apple snails and cherry shrimp? And if I were to get 2 of them would it be best to get 1m/3f or 2m/2f?

The shrimp may be in trouble at least the smaller ones. I think the snails would be ok but I haven't tried it.
