Ive yet to watch the clip, i wont.. i fear i might go on a rampage and track down these ppl and kill them!!!! disgusting..... i swear i have a soft spot more for animals then people.... unbelieveable
I have been to China...trust me, the USA is not nearly as barbaric on a whole as they are in China! They are absolute savages and its not isolated either!

On topic: I too have wondered how a fish could survive such an ordeal. I would think the high temperatures of a frying pan cooking on a stove would kill a fish. Even if the head was wrapped into a moist towel.

some people dont understand that in some countries that are poor. if it moves its likely to get eaten. you people act like you never seen worst. when most animals that you eat are prolly being treated worse but you just dont see it. this whole fish thing is about freshness. its to show how fresh the fish is. learn how to appreciate coultures people. im sure most of you have killed ants or other small insects before by stepping on them or by spraying them with chemicals to get rid of them in your house isnt that considered cruel? if your gonna say things like this about 1 animal it goes for all living things so dont say its just an ant...well its just a fish. bear gryll on man vs wild he eats raw stuff like catching a snake and biting its head off while its live and the snake is still moving fighting for its life....how come i dont see nobody bashing him?
if it is any condolence, sometimes electrical impulses will still be active in a dead body for a while after the life is gone and can be stimulated by moving or poking it. in this case it would appear like the fish is still breathing.
by your argument you are saying that it is cruel to kill anything that lives...does this include bacteria, fungi, and plants as well?
Its not the fact that the fish was eaten, but deep fried and had flesh plucked from a burn (a burn is thought to be the worst type of pain BTW)
I eat meat, and if neseccery, would eat a raw animal if I was stuck in the woods. I would not try to inflict 3rd degree burns and rip flesh from the wound, that is the cruel part. I have to stand by my statement made before. If I witnessed this, I would act out and make sure the person doing this ended up with their hand in the fryer.
