We are going to be putting 10 endlers in my daughters 14 gallon tank and would like to add some other fish too. What would be a good addition? Keep in mind this is a 12 year olds tank, so the brighter and busier the better.
We are new to this hobby and dont know much about different kinds of fish so need all the help we can get. Im willing to do the research if somebody can point me in a direction. She is interested in zebra danios, glowlight danios, cherry barbs and cardinal tetras but is open to pretty much anything.
I know the endlers will multiply and we have a spare 10 gallon we will set up as a fry tank. I have spoken to a new pet store that opened recently about an hour away and the owner said she would gladly buy any fry we get from any fish or snails. She said they are aiming to keep as much business as possible local, we are in a very remote area and nothing is easy to come by around here, and that in her experience, home raised fish tend to be healthier and they have fewer deaths since there is no shipping and less stress transporting them.
