This guy was pure white when I got him a few months ago. Now he's almost all blue. Great little guy that begs like my Oscars when he sees people

Took a few of "Freckles" here. He's a DeltaTail that I picked up at PetCo a couple of years ago. Beautiful little fish....all the colors of the rainbow !
Here's a few pics I took of him when I first got him. Bettas colors tend to change as they get older. Usually it's the red that starts coming out. This one here has developed "age" spots.....lol....hence the name "Freckles" He still looks as pretty as when I first brought him home !

He's really pretty
I think that you may actually have a halfmoon there, or possibly a rosetail (even larger spread than halfmoons). In the last pic you can see a 180 degree spread, and you can see how is tail is ruffled nicely in all of the images.

Yeah, I was looking at that after I posted the pics and you might be right. I had gone back and edited the comment before I saw your post. They do label deltas as halfmoons though. I see them there all the time. I purchased this one when they first started to stock the "higher" end bettas a few years back. Now all I see are deltas labeled halfmoons, but I keep looking...lol. I occasionally come across a prize at that store and even though I'm not looking for anymore bettas...I still check them out
This one has some nice curly fins...yeah. When I was really into bettas I had heard that curled fins were considered a flaw. I like it !

Every single one of my seven or eight "L" FS's only stock veiltails or crowntails...gah! I had to drive for 2 1/2 hours to get a super delta. He's not even a halfmoon

LOL....yeah, I went through a serious betta addiction when I first got into the hobby...had LOTS of them ! I'm now down to only 2.
Here's another incredible find I made at the local PetCo one day. I no longer have this betta but it was a gorgeous doubletail....take a look at that dorsal ! I have never seen a betta with such an incredible dorsal !
