Blue Orandas-Introducing Tinkle, Chimecho and Harper

Nice goldfish!
How many are you up to now?
25.:omg: I'm having a new pond rebuilt by April to house at least 20 orandas. I am obsessed with orandas.lmao The old ponds can still be used but I'll have them destroyed eventually to be replaced by a garden. I can't go with a big pond near there due to falling coconuts as weird as it sounds. The big pond will be in the backyard so it'll be easy enough to barricade my dogs out of the way. My next problem will be cats so I may need to get some mesh and galvanized steel to shield my pond and loads of pond plants. If only cats understand better these are not sushi.

Uggghh, now I am really jealous. Goldies, ponds, weather nice enough for outdoor fish AND palm trees... Yeesh. Rub it in why doncha.

OH DROOL. Lupin they are the most beutiful goldies I have ever seen <3<3<3<3<3

they are stunning fishies!

Thanks, guys! They just ate two batches of Hikari Lionhead. Will train them on Mazuri gel foods. It's taking a bit of time getting them accustomed to new foods than I imagined. My calico, Donna never was reluctant to eat anything

Dang, I thought I was getting bad with the numbers (I am up to 20.) And I still have a 150 gallon tank to stock, lol!!!

They are very pretty. I have really taken a liking to the blue color, I have a yitty bitty blue ryukin.

Kristina

Thanks, Kris.:)

I asked someone with experience on raising blue orandas and she mentioned all her blue orandas darken in color as they mature. Only one case involves of a blue oranda turning panda and then white. Either way, they're still beautiful. It'll be a nice achievement if the blues stay blue until full grown.

Got jealous of mine didya? :p Mine is still as blue as the day I got it and much larger. Congrats... now if we could only find the lavanders...
