25.mg: I'm having a new pond rebuilt by April to house at least 20 orandas. I am obsessed with orandas.lmao The old ponds can still be used but I'll have them destroyed eventually to be replaced by a garden. I can't go with a big pond near there due to falling coconuts as weird as it sounds. The big pond will be in the backyard so it'll be easy enough to barricade my dogs out of the way. My next problem will be cats so I may need to get some mesh and galvanized steel to shield my pond and loads of pond plants. If only cats understand better these are not sushi.
Thanks, guys! They just ate two batches of Hikari Lionhead. Will train them on Mazuri gel foods. It's taking a bit of time getting them accustomed to new foods than I imagined. My calico, Donna never was reluctant to eat anything
I asked someone with experience on raising blue orandas and she mentioned all her blue orandas darken in color as they mature. Only one case involves of a blue oranda turning panda and then white. Either way, they're still beautiful. It'll be a nice achievement if the blues stay blue until full grown.
