My understanding is that the Mayan calendar in no way has any end in the sense that it's entirely cyclical. Apparently they believed that during the transition something "big" would happen to signify the new time period but they did not believe the world would be ending at that time.

well said! :clap: Why worry about what you cannot change? I plan on living my life the best I can and hope that when that day somes I wind up on the "good side" of the fence.
 
People keep saying it'll happen, and every time it doesn't happen, they say it'll happen a few years later.

It has nothing to do with the Mayans and everything to do with pop culture.
Actually do some reading on the Mayan calender before jumping off that cliff with the rest of the lemmings.
