Not a factual statement there, DD. If you knew nothing about innocents being able to volunteer as accomplices, then yes you did skim -- both the signup thread (where Pappy posted about this) and this thread (see the rules/roles in Post #1).

It's actually rather interesting you would vote me for saying you skimmed. That's hardly a secret in your case, DD.. lmao. In fact, I've never seen a mafia game yet that you've played where you didn't skim your way through the rules and the posts.... and other players talk about that and joke about that all the time. I didn't even vote you for it, say it meant you were scummy, or even "call you out" over it. Yet, you felt strongly enough about this to actually vote me?

In your case, DD, skimming isn't actually a scum-tell... you do it as often when you're innocent as you do when you're evil. That's why I thought it was funny... there was DD being DD. However... the interesting part of this is this: I don't remember you voting everyone else who's said you were skimming before. Maybe I hit a nerve or "something" with you this time. DD ... making a big deal out of something that's very commonplace in these games.

Okay.. so it sucks that I called you a skimmer. Be that as it may I still don't see the big deal, DD. Who else in these games hasn't called you skimmer before? Which games have you played in the past where you weren't skimming? Why is this such a huge arse issue with you in this game, DD?

DD I don't actually feel I "called" you out or anything of the sort. I mentioned you skimmed... then I joked about it. That's all there was to it.

Seems more to me in this case that you wanted to coast along through this game going unnoticed the whole time. And the first time someone mentioned your name (without even leaning you as a suspect for anything), you've just overreacted to that and decided to vote the person for it.


Honestly, DD... even without understanding why you'd vote me for just calling you a skimmer, I would have felt better had you stayed put. Even with that. For you to switch votes now for the simple reason that you'd rather go along with the flow... is rather alarming. That isn't usually your style, DD.

Kash, I am half going to entertain the discussion about whether I skimmed or didn't, whether I do so regularly or not.... the fact is, you called me out on it by mentioning it in your post without a giggle so now you are saying that I should have just sat back and ignored it? Oh wait.... or are you saying that I am trying to coast through this game while we are only on day 1.... Ok, so I didn't read through the rules in post #1 thoroughly enough to see that there is the rule for people to PM... if you didn't feel like it was an issue, why did you even bring it up?

So, the reason I voted for you is because yes, you did call me out on that and I thought it was done so with poor reasoning... I felt that with that reasoning, you were reaching pretty far out there... correct, you did not vote on me at the time, but so what... you brought my name up with saying that your point was that I was skimming and now you go back on yourself and seem to try to justify over and over and over about why you brought it up in the first place was just merely to mention it... now it's looking a bit desperate if you ask me.

We have no evidence of anything and we are banishing someone. So I am attempting to jack up the votes on one person so that it would be less likely for me to be banished.

Some thoughts on the "train" -

I need to check, but I am assuming that this was posted after jpap's wrong vote count.

This game is off to a quick start.

This first day is going to be tough. I can see why people are speculating on who would ask to be evil...the only problem I see with that is if no one asked to be evil or if everyone asked to be evil.

In the first scenario I guess the madman will pick their team and in the 2nd scenario it is 1st come 1st served. I guess what I'm trying to say is it's still a crapshoot trying to guess. I'm going to hold off on my vote for now for that reason. Hopefully we can get some substance.

I can see voting for LR or FF but the early train forming on LR has me a bit worried.

I mentioned the train and where FF's vote fell.

FF has 2 votes and is the third person on the Lab train.

I don't have a problem voting for LR and I already stated I could see the reasoning behind voting for them. I have also since found out (thanks to JL) that Pap's vote count was wrong when I intially made my comment. Pap had the votes 4 to 1 with 4 on LR. In fact vote 56 was on FF not LR. So the tally was actually 3 on LR and 2 on FF. Not much of an early train any more is it.

I would think Lab would question that more, but instead has come back with a bunch of excuses and really non-sense. DD's vote on Kash is about an OMGUS and a gut feeling. wtf?

By looking at the posts, I see more people interested in FF than Lab. Without the post count, I would have thought there was more of a train on FF. Dawg pointing out the "train" from jpap's vote count is sorta weak. If he thought there was a train, what evils had hopped on? The first vote? second? third? or the fourth (which was the third)?

How many votes does it take to be a train and when is it a train?

I did question it. I thought it was odd. I think there is a good chance Kash could be the Madman, but I don't think that necessarily makes Wiz scum. I think he is simply following his gf semi blindly.

What do you make of texasguy's posts? To me, they are the scummiest thing posted by far.

And I'm sorry JL, but FF and I are not communicating outside the thread, I'm not communicating with anyone (which I would think would be painfully obvious)...dear god, there would probably already be 1k posts if that were the case.

I am sure atleast one player did, if not three. While I like being evil, I am not sure if I would volunteer. There are a few players who I think would ask.

Maybe this is the easy way out, but I could see FF asking (if not begging) to be evil.

I can see your point, however, part of your post makes me wonder about your alliance as well. I will need to give some thought over who I desire to banish.

I asked FF a question, he even gave a fairly good answer. He did not ask me the same question, nor have you.

If you want to ask a question, then ask it.

I have a few for for you, explain this "evil strategy of best defense is better offense".

Do you think that is a good plan? Have you played mafia before? Have you been evil before? Do you understand it is day one? Why would the evils come out strong when they are out numbered? As long as one of their teamates are not being banished, they could really care less who goes.
