i have a 3inch common pleco with my tiger oscar in a 10g (im upgrading quite soon) and im not sure what he/she sex is and id like to find out. any way i could tell?
I dont know if its true but ive been told by my dad (a fish expert) and mutliple others that a fully grown oscar would do fine in a 55g tank
I love how people on this forum FREAK out about tank sizes. The OP said that the tank is just a temp until the fish begin to mature. Just because someone has a pleco or an oscar that will one day be a large fish does not mean they need a 100 gallon tank when the fish is only an inch long. Im sure by the time they need a larger tank he will upgrade or find another home for the fish. So give the guy a break.
