Mafia 66: Farmers versus the Railroad - the play

Wow! I was not expecting to come back to this. LR and Coler seem to have suddenly come to terms with each other. I need to go back and look at their more recent posts but something just is not right about their sudden changes in attitude.

Dawg, I realized yesterday that I needed to expand my views as to not get pigeonholed into voting only one way. At this point I have no idea who I'm voting for. I'm completely shocked by the vote retractions from Annie and Wiz. I don't know what in the world to make of it. That was the last thing I expected to see happen. Further adds to my uncertainty. I may end up voting for Coler, Annie, or Wiz...or someone else. Depends what happens today. I'd like to know your thoughts on the current turn of events seeing as of everyone left I think you're the most likely innocent.

These are the posts ans highlighted portions that are beginning to worry me.

I agree that she looked innocent on day 1 but why did you just come to that conclusion on day 3?

^Lab still seeing Coler as scum.

^Coler still seeing LR as scum.

Again Coler says LR started innocent...and calling his thoughts on her being scum "hunchy"

I would like to know about your sudden behavior change, LR.

Then LR retracts her vote on Coler. To me that is very scary and I'm beginning to think LR may have been the turn last night. I really need some explanation from you LR. I just can't make sense of it. I'm not going to jump to any conclusions just yet but you need to tell me why I'm wrong.

To Coler, I have seen plenty of scummy things from you and posts from Noods that point to you being scum. What I can't find is anything from you that points to you being an innocent. Yes you voted for Noods but she was out in the open scum and a logical place to put a vote to appear innocent if you are scum. Can you show me anything in your posts over the last several days? Also do you think it is pro-town to not have placed a vote by now? I know your thoughts but you have not backed it up with a vote yet.

It appears from my review that Coler and LR both have each other as suspects but have dropped each other down a notch on the list. Does anyone else see this as being an issue?
Dawg, you make 2 points here that I want to touch on. First, you're right. I vote to lynch Dag. Wiz is still my top suspect, but I don't feel a lot of support for a vote in that direction. Several others have said they were willing to vote Dag, and I'm willing to compromise in order to lynch another scumbag tonight. This vote is not likely to change without STRONG evidence in another direction.

Second, with Coler and Labby relaxing a little bit and looking at the bigger picture, I'm acutally getting more of an innocent feel from both of them. If they were scum, I would expect them to react more the way Wiz did a little bit ago. I believe more strongly now that the whole Labby vs. Coler thing was two townies getting into it early and the RRers using it as a distraction. Very well for a while, too.

What do you mean it's been mooted Coler?

I meant insofar as they (Annie v Dag) were being compared by way of which was a more desirable vote to lynch for the the town.

I'll make a few comments on Dawgs post in bold :

I'm sharing my thoughts they are what they are

I don't think LR has made any sudden behaviour change at all. She still has me as a suspect

Go read the posts. See if they appear scummy to you. I've been working for the town.

As regards my placing a vote, I don't have a problem doing so once I've decided in my own head how the dead is best served . I've made it clear who my preference is and I've put out the case against that person, as well as providing my thoughts on eh basically the game thus far and my other suspects. Something which is singularly lacking in other players but so be it, we all play the way we play.

That last bit it seems you have at least half way right although I do not detect from Lab Rat that I am not still a suspect, and I have been straight up in saying that I regard her as one as well. Why don't you tell us in a bit more detail why you yourself think it is an issue instead of floating it out there and seeing what you can latch on to ?

I think the most confusing thing is the turn. It is so tough to tell who it is. That's why when I came here this morning and saw you changing your mind I was thinking TURN. Your list seems to have not changed but the vote retraction has me worried. I'd actually really like to hear what JPap has to say. I guess I could have been too hyper-focused on Coler too but I see too much evidence against him to change my vote.

I'm really not sure how you ever got an innocent feel from Coler but OK (maybe you could show me the posts that leaned you that way). Do you not think that Lab could have been the turn last night and waited a bit to slowly change lanes so as not to appear drastic? Maybe it's just because it caught me off guard. I'm interested to see where Lab and Coler's votes fall and whether they stay there or move around.

Actually the part that concerns me is not that she is looking at other people...I am doing the same but the fact that the vote was retracted without a better place to put the vote. Usually someone retracts because they have a better suspect. I don't see her talking about a BETTER suspect and if she does have one (which I'm guessing would be Annie) why hasn't she voted for him? That's what concerns me.

I guess I misspoke. I didn't so much get an innocent feel for Coler until much more recently after he started posting more and being more active. Before that time, I saw nothing terribly incriminating; certainly not enough to warrant a vote. Since then, he seems to be on the up and up. Maybe it's just me being "hunchy". It's not about a specific post as much as the overall character arc.

As far as Labby goes, I had her as a prime suspect until I actually went through and read her posts. She's been putting thoughts out there consistently and I don't see where she's waivered. I think she's definitely a good enough player to pull off a slow-roll lane change as you suggest, but I get a sincere feel for her stance against a slew of tough beating from almost every player at one point or another; including both of us. I believe whole heartedly at this point that Labby's innocent. I don't see her opening up her view on Coler as either clearing him or scummy.

Of course, I've been fooled before. But I think I have a good read on this one.

So, Dawg; the same question to you that Dag conveniently never answered... if you couldn't vote for Coler, who would you vote for?

That is pretty disingenuous dawg. People retract votes to indicate a shift in their current thinking (I took mine of Kashta at one point even in this game) or a willingness to reconsider. It certainly does not clear the person the vote is taken off (me in this case), and it is certainly not scummy to retract without voting someone else in the same breath.

Objective comment - you could be seen to be a little anxious to get a vote on Annie, for instance, or to make Lab Rat put that vote down.

Who are the other people you are looking at ?
