Yes, it is good to learn from past mistakes...and it isn't bad to place a early vote, but in this post again you just did it...saying you placed it early knowing you can change it, at the same time saying you never know how busy you may be. It can't be both ways, I think you see Ice as a "safe" vote. If he does show innocent you can say "Oh I planned on coming back and changing it just didn't have time" "he looked scummy at the time" and so on.

Im confused...why cant you say that 1) you can change your vote (which is true) and 2) you still want to vote early just in case?

I fail to see how those two statements contradict. Its two completely different hypotheticals.

I've already said I'm voting for him because he seems most scummy. I'm calling his bluff. From what I can tell, he's playing mind games with the town.
 
So I went back to see if Ice is scum would there be a reason for him to suggest saving FF. This is from the rules...

Scum: You win when your population is greater than or equal to the population of townies. Each night you will be murder one player and investigate one player and have their alignment revealed to you. The souls of the Doctor, Exorcist and Psychic are pure, so you will know they are a PR, but not which one.

(1) Prime Evil: You are possessed by an evil presence. You may communicate with other evil players. You have a one time hit that you may use at nightfall in addition to your regular team hit. Upon your death you will become an evil spirit, you may continue to communicate with the other evil players.

(>1) Regular Evil: You are possessed by an evil presence. You carry the same gear as the vanilla townies. You may communicate with other evil players. Upon your death you will become an evil spirit, you may continue to communicate with the other evil players.

The evil get a hit every night but Prime evil gets an additional hit. That could be one reason for Ice to try and save FF but I don't see Ice being so blatant about it.

I've been quiet so far for two reasons...yesterday was because I was recovering from sleep deprivation from my weekend fishing trip in NH. Today I just haven't been able to get a read on anyone and have just been trying to catch up.

The biggest thing that bothers me right now is LR and Kash saying they see Ice as scum yet they are both voting for Ice instead of FF. The problem I see with that is this is how Ice wants them to vote. If you distrust Ice why vote the way he wants you to vote?

i think Ice brought this up as well but i think this is a really really scummy thing to say, personally, and it all the more reinforces the fact that ice is trying to pull something...so bascially ice "wanted" to be lynched or really thought a vet should be over a newb if it came down to not having a good read. ppl think the suggestion is scummy and vote for him and now all of a sudden its suspicious because thats going along with his plan? i dont think so.

those are two totally different angles.

1) vote ice even though he is innocent so he can help w/ the investigations

2) vote is because you think he is scum

doing #2 does not directly imply that you are following ice's plan (#1). It may be a nice back up plan in case but thats not what we are playing for...we are playing to find mafia.

I vote to lynch Ice

top suspects are now Ice, LG, and Dawg. it may be a bit bold to list three ppl right now but its what Im thinking. Im willing to give ff a shot at the risk of getting a headache. still keeping a close watch on dd too.

Okay, you and Ice are going to have to explain your supposed impossibility here.How is it impossible for me to not know how busy I will be, and to place an early vote so I can change it? These seem to be completely unrelated. So you are saying that I cannot be unaware of how my day will go and try to plan ahead at the same time? Also seems odd to me that both you and Ice are using the same FAULTY logic. Don't like me voting against your team mate?

tell me you've never thrown a vote early even though in the back of your mind you know that there is a possibility that you can switch it but you want to have one in anyways and I'll believe you G.
