Interesting that you would answer this post and not the one where I questioned you about keeping the towns focus on when we are.

Focus on whatever you want to, Wizard. Kick your bushes and draw the conclusions you feel are valid. I'll do the same.

It seems simple to me, if you are going to have different abilities or whatever from game day to game day JP will let you know. Other than that your job is to root out scum.

The problem with that logic is only 6 people get those messages from Pappy (3 mafia and 3 physicists)... that leaves 15 players who'll get absolutely no indication what we're up against and how that change changes from one day to the next.

As for rooting out scum... I don't see anything yet to indicate anyone has slipped up or is acting particularly suspicious. (Including you, Wizard.)

I WAS hoping Pappy would be less obscure about the games... but so be it.

'Ogre Wiz' sounds better than 'Wiz Ogre'? One sounds like an energy drink and the other sounds like you're telling Ogre to potty-up before a road trip.

This is disturbing in a very funny way...

What in that question sound like I have "already determined an answer and want justification or something?"?

How do you get that from my simple question?

Are you uptight about my interest in your relationship with Wiz? What do you think about FF's claim that it looks staged?

Honestly, it sounds to me like you're asking mad if he agrees with you that FF and me are teammates. ANd it sounds like you've already made up your mind and were just asking for confirmation... or maybe you were joking and I didn't get it???

This from someone who has spent more time trying to figure out when we are rather than rooting out scum?

Have you been trying to fuel a D1 distraction to keep the town focused on what you want us focused on?

That's what you call rooting out mafia? !??!?! You've got a lot to learn... read some games where Charlie was an innocent. Now those are bush kicking.

While that seems simple enough. I am not sure about the different abilities or whatever. I was just PM'ed my role, nothing stated it would change or I had abilities.

I vote to lynch the wizard.

Also, wiz seems to be jumping at everything that moves, creating quite the khaos, maybe this is his idea of kicking bushes, but it is silly.

The "arugements" between him and Ogre and him and Kash seem empty and pointless.

Speaking of Charlie... has he checked in yet (no, I'm not going through the entire thread to see if he has or not. get over it)?

Two things of note:

1) FF has suddenly shifted gears some. Maybe s/he is just off the computer, but it seems like a sudden slow down. Admittedly, FF said that would happen, but is it just claming down or is it blending into the background.

2) Wiz seems to have exploded. Admittedly, s/he suddenly ended up with the most votes.

I'm still not convinced (in spite of several players mentioning it) that anyone can communicate today. Again, it doesn't make any sense to include a rule that is instantly ignored. Of course, it is Jpap... so who knows what's going on.

If no one can communicate, then any accusations of collusion are ridiculous and either the result of poor play or attempting to throw someone under the bus.

Oh please... lol. Give me a break, Wizard. That was actual bush kicking? I seriously doubt it. That might have been you taking a poke at someone for a pretty random reason on Day 1 and you might have wondered about any reaction it might get you. But it's hardly rooting out scum whichever way someone responds this early on. More like you trying to appear to be actively pro-town... or maybe offering some sort of justification for taking a more aggressive approach in the game with a lot of players who don't know you or your style.

I am not sure if any of us have seen wiz's "aggressive approach" on day one - if ever.

He seems to be jumping everywhere.

For the record I am the third vote on wiz.

And yes, my comment about you and wiz becoming fast friends was meant as humor, I think Mad got it and even responed, now how does this make you and FF teamates?

It may seem pointless to you but it beats trying to second guess the mod.

It is D1 and we don't have anything to go on. If nothing else maybe I can provide that as the day progresses.

I may have skimmed the rules but I do recall in the mafia thread when JP was laying this game out he mentioned abilities changing according to the game we are in.

The statement I bolded here worries me, Wiz. The only time I skim rules is when I am scum. If you're really as interested in bush kicking as you say, then wouldn't reading the rules be a good first step? How else will you know what to look for from all your "bush kicking"?

If today's mode is 50/50 then half of the town is mafia. If today's mode is vampires, then there is a LV and maybe a turn.

I do not think it is "simple enough" at all.

Also, don't you think it is strange that FF would play invisable? He wanted to ban it from the game he moded. Then when questioned about it, it appears he went back to playing visable. I did not see FF address it. I did you see you come to his aid.

Am I going to get accused of beating up FF by asking simple questions?

I've seen a couple people state that IF we're playing the 50/50 game, then the town is split... doesn't that directly contradict what Pappy posted in the rules about 3 physicists and 3 mafia? Seems like some logic is a little off there. Or there's some misdirection going on.

I doubt if it is 50/50 or if any of the game types will be 50/50.

There are three evils that may or not be able to talk. There are three innocents that may of not be able to talk. They also might be able to investigate and protect - depending on the game type for that day.
