Why did HN vote the Wizard so quickly after me then? That makes no sense, unless he thought that it was just a passing fancy and that something else would come up and then he could safely move off to a safer vote or stay on for no reason and look more innocent.

No, I think that TheWiz is the most likely to be innocent I've got and your role in the game will be very telling.

If either you are Zsand is mafia, then I highly suspect the other is as well.

Didn't you say earlier that Wizard and I were the highest suspects?

How do you figure if I or Z are mafia the other must be?

Here's the thing though... how can anyone get an investigation on Day 1.

According to the rules, the investigation (if it occurs) happens during the night after the lynching... so how could the 'reporter' (if there is such a thing) get the results of the investigation and post a headline on day 1.

I really don't know what to make of it.

I also thought about this after I made that other post. Perhaps the headline was just something random to use the ability before it was lost, and not intended to guide us in any way. I feel like a mushroom!! Kept in the dark and fed a bunch of S*$#...

Hey, I have a question..I asked earlier but no-one answered. As far as the "code" words...didn't each word MEAN something. The word fish was suppose to mean kill (hit) right. So IF the word was being used in code wouldn't it of meant to "hit" a person?

I did not play that game, but code words did have specific; so yes, the using the "hit" word would mean to hit someone. However I would think that the word would need to be used in relation to a certain player to make any sense....

So here's a couple of questions:

Did hooked switch off Wiz to protect him and then back on when it was obvious to everyone that HN was the lynch target (again to protect Wiz)?

There are five players with multiple votes whose votes never landed on Hooked: LadyG, Zsand, John, Zaffy, Noods

Communication:
Now, I'm assuming that the mafia can communicate. Of course, I hadn't considered this until just an hour or so ago, but even if they couldn't communicate, then they should still know who each other is.

SO, was there an effort to save hooked newbie?

I had prepared some thoughts on the concerted effort to save Wiz, when hooked turned out innocent, but since he's mafia, was there any effort to save him?
I don't really see one. Everyone who voted for hook, stayed there.

At this point, The Wizard is highly suspicious, but is it really just saving his own rump, or was it throwing HN under the bus?

So, my top suspects are (not necessarily in this order): TheWiz, Zsand, John, LadyG, Noods, Zaffy.

Unfortunately, I can't really think of anything to ask that would help me decide right now.

I vote to lynch Zsand

He is playing exactly like every other time he's been mafia. He says things, but the things he says are of no substance. For example, the quote above. One line for Hooked and nothing for LadyG when almost the entier discussion of day 2 has been LadyG.

I am perfectly happy with a LadyG/Zsand vote run.

I know that Zsand is mafia. I am perfectly happy with switching to LadyG if need be.

I vote to lynch Zsand... again... until his head pops off and his guts are exposed for being mafia scum.

Yes, that is what I thought too. SOoooo, then the fact I said fish, Mad said fish and Hooked said fish (along with a couple who said "fishy") really is not a "clue" in anyway. There was no mention of Rich in any of those posts and he was the hit for last night.

How would the journalist have a headline if they didn't have an investigation? Maybe jpap let them send in an invest and they got the results prior to night 1 so they could get their headline in. Maybe jpap is messing with us. Either could happen...

OH, I agree that either could happen... however, I'm pretty much going to ignore the headlines. It only leads to BS arguments.

For the THIRD TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zsand is playing very much like he has in the past, when he's been mafia. He also wasted a vote on a UD. He also ignored the main topic of conversation during this day turn and voted for someone that everyone else has ignored (in terms of voting) today.

For those reasons, I choose to vote Z and move him to the head of the mafia list.

You however, I was more willing to give a pass on. Personally, I thought the whole 'code word' issue was bogus form the beginning. FISH!!! see?

However, your recent behavior (not the least of which is missing the three posts previously where I described my reasoning for voting Zsand (and including you on the suspect list) has really elevated you position in the mafia meter.


For now, I will leave me vote on Zsand.

I would REALLY, REALLY like to hear what others think of him as a mafia. However, if it looks like the voting for Z will go no further than me, I will (now) happily change my vote to LadyG, who, until now, I didn't suspect that much.

OTOH, I will continue to push for Z as mafia.
