There's a much easier way to prove who's lying, Kash. I'm sure the GS will take care of it when they're ready. And I don't see it as a mistake.

You've made it very clear, JB, that you want the shooter to kill me no matter what. It's also apparent now (given your fake role claim on top of your incessant posting last night... based on absolutely nothing you could back up) that this is a mistake for the town.

I expect you already know this gunslinger shot is a one-time deal because that's what Pappy told you and your scummate(s). Had I not figured that out myself, the town might not have had time to question that point at all before you managed to convince the gunslinger to kill me.

Furthermore, since the town doesn't benefit from the info contained in the mafia's PM telling them to pick whichever townie they want to take that shot... I expect we have no way of knowing this gunslinger format ends at that point and we get another format for Day #5... whereas you do. So that's why you decided to push this so hard against me. Who knows, maybe a townie PR might have outted themself in the bargain too, saving you from having to wait long enough to investigate the right person before killing them too.

Dawg, if this really was the gunslinger game.. you would be right and I'd tell the GS to just shoot me and be done with it to prove JB is lying. Then I'd be the gunslinger and JB would get killed.

However, I still see no evidence from Pappy to suggest this format will continue AFTER nightfall. That theory goes against everything we already know about THIS game.

If that's true it means I won't get that gun to take JB out like we did in that game. Pappy's time machine will kick in before then, we'll have lost the innocent shooter (who the mafia picked themselves for that reason in the first place), and they've got another 48 day and another screwy format to use to try to confuse us again with something else.

Meanwhile, they've succeeded in protecting Ogre long enough for us to go after other people instead. You know as well as I do that delaying an inevitable lynch is often all it takes to divert suspicion away from someone long enough for new suspects and new diversions to mislead the town into thinking someone else is "more scummy." It's a known tactic to stay alive long enough to do something else you already have planned.

If this is the gunslinger game (and I see no other options on the table) then the "nightfall" events or shooting results will be based on that game; meaning that if you are indeed innocent and the GS shoots you, you will not die but he/she will. Of course you would not carry the gun over into the next game day (due to the vortex) however we would then have a confirmed scum (JB) and would certainly lynch him. why is that so hard to comprehend? Why are so afaid to take one for the team? If I were in your shoes and were indeed innocent I would paint a big red target on my chest....just not getting the hesitation here.

Why are you not sure about Rich, Kash?

That's a good point, I think you're right to question Rich in that he's probably still reliable. His resurrection came after the mafia's turn so we know that wasn't him. Bishop is still doubtful though.

I'm just posting away here (while working too) without stopping first to check back through my notes and timelines.

A. Shoot Kash and if she dies we got a scum. If she doesn't die we know JB was lying and we lynch him in the next format. or...

B. Shoot JB and if he doesn't die we Know you were lying and we lynch you in the next format. If he does die we got a scum.

With all parties (including Kash) agreeing that a Scum coming out and claiming to be an innocent PR would be a stupid idea I'm still thinking JB is the one telling the truth here. I'll just have to wait and see what the GS does with the shot. JB has said he has no problem taking the bullet and dealing with Kash later. Kash does have a problem with taking the bullet and dealing with JB later. I think we just got our answer.

Based on which game, Noodles... the one we're actually playing or the one Pappy took PR role powers from?

While your theory is a valid possibility it is still not a confirmed fact from the game mod. Without that confirmation established first, however, it's nothing more than another theory we act upon that may or may not be correct.

If I remember correctly, Lab Rat was the first to ask Pappy the question and I haven't seen him confirm it yet.

Should that happen and Pappy confirms there will be multiple shots and multiple gunslingers through the whole 48-hour game day... then I'll be happy to reverse my position and ask the gunslinger to shoot me first.

That goes both ways, Dawg. I've said it's stupid for mafia to come out with a false role claim.

It's equally stupid for a townie PR to come out with a real one.

No offense to JB or his strategy, but I consider his actions misconceived regardless of his role. It smells like a rash decision he and his scummates didn't think through well enough before acting upon it.

The gunslinger continues to shoot unless an innocent is hit and dies. This format is not exactly like the game it is based on. The game will not finish on this format unless all the mafia are killed by the gunslinger.
