What I had meant was no 50/50 turn-kill every night because that's what the evils could do last game...we need to mix it up.

I do not think the alpha should be given an automatic turn after his/her teammates die. If the evils are playing that poorly then they shouldn't get such a nice break. I think then it should be a 50% shot of turn-kill.

I think once the aplha is dead the role should be gone. It's not like they have any special abilities other than being the one to PM you targets.

Ok, so would that be under A, B, C, or D?

So let me seee if i have this strait. You think the Wolves should only get kills? Or that the alpha can turn and if he/she dies the wolves only get kills? Or something else entirely?

My vote would be B. If the Alpha dies then they can kill but no turns. The only exception being a first night UD in that case the pack can pick a new alpha from the remaining wolves.

Agreed, because that would ruin the game...

BUT the werewolves should strategize more around protecting their leader....

I like this suggestion. It keeps it fair and doesn't overly penalize for people UDing (cough Jmax, DD cough)
 
Just as eager as I was. Youll have to wait a little, or else everyone gets over-mafia-ed and everything crumbles. In about a week (or when we get 16+ players) we can start. Im thinking 3 days from now min start date.



But if they lose the Alpha because they don't stratagize well enuff its permanant loss. I was thinking that only the Alpha can turn people and when/if he/she dies the wolves can only get kills.

Im also thinking about just sticking with the original rules and telling the wolves to get over it if they loss the alpha.

Lets let the town decide:

Do you pick:

A)If alpha dies day 1 they get a new alpha

B)If alpha dies the wolves get to kill one guy every night, but lose turns

C)Original rules, if alpha dies wolves need to just get over it.

Or D)Other (if u pick this, state ur idea)


Actually B is the original rule. The Alpha only allowed them to make 50/50 chance at a turn if the team got below a certain number. There isn't a breakdown of who was what and when what happened so I can't reference it to say at what level or how many they started with. But they would still get kills even if Alpha dies just no chance at turns.
