I went back and looked through Pir and Rich's posts. Pir had been hinting for a long time that he knew Haydn was scum. I picked up on him being the detective way before he made it clear, and I believe the mafia did too. I can see Pir investigating Haydn since he had been asking questions of him for a lot of day 1. In fact, looking at Pir's behavior in general throughout day 1 supports what he says about wanting to focus on newbs. Haydn's behavior since Pir called him out further backs up Pir's claims in my mind. I find it hard to believe that a newb, non-communicating would be so calm, or quick to be a wise guy while on the chopping block. The logistical questions he's asked (what's a PR, when is nightfall) seem like BS to me. If I am to believe he's as quick to pick up on the game as to not get stressed when being voted off the island, then I find it hard to believe this was a mystery.

When I looked into Rich's posting, I was thinking back to a game not too long ago when Rich was indeed the detective. I don't remember what game it was exactly, but I think the role was termed "seer" that time. I'm not liking what I see. I was shocked to find Rich as one of the higher posters. And I'm happy to see this trend in recent games. :grinyes: But I also noticed that the increase in posts didn't exactly translate to an increase in content. In fact, it seems even his "game related" posts are filled with non-committal coated in vague-ity. Until it comes to throwing out baseless accusations.

I highly suspect JM. He has done everything he can to discredit Pir without even acknowledging the possibility of his claim being real. He has stayed calm through the whole exchange which I think we can all agree from recent games is probably through the help of a team, and having a den to communicate in. He seems to have a much better grasp on the thread as well, since he has mates to talk it over with before posting.

I also suspect User but don't have enough to really say why yet.

JB, I can see what you are saying and have thought about this Pir/Rich thing quite a bit going back and forth in my mind as to which of the two had more to loose/gain.

If I remember right, I don't think Pir has ever had a PR before, and not able to communicate at this point...I could see him, not being sure what to do with the info he gained or how to get it out there acting the way he has.

I said I thought the kids were innocent, but one made a false claim and picked another youngster as his know scum. Only way you pick some like that is if he is scum too. Other wise you take some one bigger down with you.

Ok Rich, the fact he would be afraid of being lynched way's quite a bit on the reason I believe he would come out. I could see him being afraid of being lynched without getting the info out that he found out.

Add the fact you bring up that you were in no danger, that too brings up a good point. If you were in no danger, instead of "coming out" you could of just tried to discredit him, or let things play out if he is lying he would surely be the next lynch..but you didn't you RCed too. I'm sure thinking more would believe you because of this.

Maybe Hay is mafia and you are trying to "protect" him? I don't know, but the fact you were in no danger does not give you more credit in my mind.

I retract my vote on Pir and vote to lynch Rich.
 
Well I did point out the quotes about 40 pages ago and he has avoided the question ever since. The first was the hand picking by mod incident. The second was "we should try find who would have hit labby" and the third was pointing out me and other people without any evidence and telling them to look into us that he has accused.

And I have not been investigated. I know it.
 
Your viewing pirana, any thoughts? Or is your den telling you to be quiet?

I believe the "hand picking by the mod" was answered, not sure on the other two.

As far as if you have been investigated, obviously I really have no idea...but of the two coming out, I see he had more to loose by not doing it so for now I believe him. After tonight, we will know and he will be next if he is lying, or not hit tonight.

Pir, do you want to answer his questions now that they are here and you know exactly what he is asking.

I will never get through to you so carry on. I cant make it any plainer but as always it is the silly little details that get everyone hung up.

Either that or you are scum too.

I am guessing hay is mafia, because that is the only thing that makes sense for Pir picking him as his supposed invest, otherwise he would have picked some one more threatening.

I can tell you that Pir is lying and Zaf is scum. You decide what you want.

He did come out to save himself or at least to go down as a mafia champion. I don't care how new your are at this, hay had 5 posts maybe day one, he was a big threat to who? his lunch.
 
Thanks rich, at least someone has some brains around here :) if everyone votes to lynch pirana and finds he is scum then you will all know I'm telling the truth... I know I haven't been investigated, especially by pirana so therefore he is lying to get another innocent lynched... I hope everyone understands this.

Silly little details...I don't think they are silly or little right now Rich.

So, because of this mess that has muddied everything up I am scum? Just because I don't know what to believe at this point?

If Pir is lying it will show and he is gone, also bringing down Hay...because I do believe if he is lying Hay must be scum too.
