Well I'm not saying you scare me Kash, I'm not getting a scum vibe, but I don't see Pir as innocent either. He's just acting way to scummy. As for a team letting him do all this, there are two possabilities. One is they did thinking the chaos was good to hide behind, the other more likely possability is that he just isn't a good listener. If I remember the werewolf scum chat correctly Lab told him not to do things and he turned around and did them anyway. Telling him not to do something may be a lot easier than stopping him from doing it.

I knew that Rich was det. I "investigated" Haydn because I felt there was a good chance of him being scum and he doesn't have the trust of other players. I was trying to get hit by the mafia so that rich had a chance, because I figured if I could catch on, the mafia could. I do understand if you guys vote me off though...

Pir, it just doesn't make since..you really thought that the mafia would "hit" you when you named a innocent as your invest? They would of known he was innocent.

Well voting Zaffy's no defense I don't expect we will see votes for anyone else today.

At the same time I can understand your frustration, why are we still on 48 hour days? Forty eight hours of Zaff followed by 48 of Pir and this town will be more insane then it all ready is.

Have to agree with others here, it needed to stay 48hours. Things have been way to crazy in this game!!

Are you just throwing names out there, or do you have a reason for bringing him up? I understand having concerns about JB he is playing so different this game...but to just throw the name out there and not really say anything, kinda looks like "baiting" to me.

hey guys I just had a lightbulb moment. Zaffy CLAIMS to be the vig, and pir is scum. Why don't we lynch pir, and have the REAL vig hit zaffy. If zaffy is in fact the vig, then he will possibly be hit by the mafia tonight, but definitely hit by them tommorow. Please point out anything wrong with this theory.

So are you trying to tell us you are scum? Maybe you are the snitch and don't want to be your team???? I just don't know.

I can really only see one reason why Rich was hit last night. He was no threat to the Scum team because Kash asked him to announce his invest. If JB was going to turn innocent why not let Rich live. We wouldn't have a known target in Zaffy, and much of the town today still wouldn't trust Rich, actually I bet more would have thought him scum for not being the hit.
I think JB was going to come up SCUM.....that they couldn't let happen.

I know this has been addressed, but I am trying to get caught up and have to add my 2 cents here.

Kash I agree with most of your post to me. The biggest problem I still have is this.

The detective is a huge threat to the scum, but in this case we are talking about last night which is a very specific case. At the point where you told Rich to call his invest he became "walking dead" and nothing, nada, zip as a threat to the scum. You need to consider everything that played out, and the order of nightly events. If Rich names any innocent the scum just hits them. The town learns nothing except the innocents name and we are going to learn one each nightfall anyway. If Rich names a scum they hit Rich.

How was he not a threat just because he said who he would be investigating? Also, if the mafia keep hitting his invests, then stop because he found a maifa wouldn't that be obvious?

I'm having trouble quoting an I only have a second, but this is referencing one of wizard's posts where he asked if UN was even reading the thread.

Last time I played where that was an issue with UN, he was scum. I frequently tried to get answers put of him, and pappy even made his name glittery and in lights to get his attention, but he either ignored or didn't read the thread. This, in additionto the fact that he can't seem to make up his mind about confirmed mafia zaffy and nearly confirmed mafia pir, puts him on my suspect list. UN, looks like you're in on the scheme too.

Well, I certainly don't think Pir is telling the truth now. That's obvious... IMO. For the rest, that's a good question. It's one I've been going back and forth on since the beginning.

I find it hard to believe anyone could lie to us so much with innocent intent. Making up stories, fake role claiming, and all that is pure scummy behavior. We certainly can't believe anything he says about anything.

On the other hand, I find it difficult to believe any mafia team would have allowed him, much less encouraged him, to go about his "game" play so poorly. It was Pir who got himself into the hot seat from the start.

So far, I've seen nothing in the thread where some other mafia person may have benefited from "giving us" Piranha. No one made themself look more pro-town by going after him as scum or just voting against him. No one tied to "save" him or even bothered to defend him. And, as a "mafia ploy" using Pir to flush out the real detective? Holy crap.... I just don't find that credible either.

Now, of course, that is how it unfolded as a result.... but I doubt the mafia team would have relied on Pir if that's what they intended the result to be.

I'd say someone else with more experience or more skill at this on the mafia team would have initiated that kind of manipulation stunt instead of them (all) agreeing to let Pir to handle it in the game thread. Role claims (real or fake) are rather sophisticated and it's tricky for someone to pull it off well enough to deliberately "lure" someone in. That's not something you just hand over to someone who still lacks finesse in this game.

If I remember correctly, it was Rich who suggested Pir was probably just trying too hard, he was over-enthusiastic, and got in over his head. Then when he realized we were that close to lynching him for it, he panicked and made up the false role claim.

I don't believe for a moment that Pir intended to protect the real detective by sacrificing himself. I think it's more likely, he tried to save his own skin and couldn't think of another way to do that without being able to communicate with anyone he could ask for advice.

Kash, I just can't for the life of me see an innocent RCing and calling out a player they didn't actually know as scum...As I was reading this, for a second I thought "well maybe" but no, I just can't see it.
Yes, I'm sure his team is very upset with him, especially since we have Zaff. But what I see is, maybe they weren't around, or MAYBE he just thought it to good not to do when he got the idea, once it was out there, the damage was done, and I'm sure they just let him sink himself. I can't see them trying to "help" him out of it once he did it. Maybe he did think Rich was the detective, but I don't think he did what he did to try and benefit the town I just do not believe it.
