I was never really going back and forth on this. I saw it as Pir getting himself in trouble with his posts and deciding that if he was going to be lynched anyway he might as well try and take down the Det before he went. I'm guessing he was the most logical choice because he was already receiving the suspicion and the votes. Granted it wasn't a landslide at the time he RC'd but I just don't see why an innocent would ever false RC and put the Det in jeopardy. Is that what you are trying to have us believe? Are you trying to put that doubt in the vigs head so they don't pull the trigger? Unless I am misreading your post...you are beginning to scare me Kash.
Rich may have said he thought Pir was misguided but that was before the RC. After the RC I think Rich was very clear that he knew Pir was scum. He even voted for Pir. I'm just not buying that a townie would do what Pir did.

As for what my opinion is or isn't, you asked me a direct question so I gave you an honest answer. I didn't expect you would like it or anyone else for that matter, and neither do I. But there you have it.
Frankly, I have no clue which team Piranha is on. I'm undecided about him. I can see both possibilities, just not because he fits in correctly with any of our expectations of this role or that one.
Whichever side he's on, he has helped the mafia... not the town. In hindsight, I wish we had killed him the first night. But we didn't. He still needs to go at this point. He has earned his upcoming death one way or another, be that by us lynching him or the vigilante hitting him. I'm fine with that and I won't hold it against
anyone for killing him off after Zaffy is gone, even if he is a misguided townie. IMO any person's vote to kill Piranha has
no bearing on their role.
Anyone who thinks he set out to do this all on purpose is welcome draw that conclusion because it makes good sense from a game standpoint. Perhaps I'm the only one who thinks he MIGHT have blundered into that by mistake.... I don't know. I'm just not going to waste any more of my time trying to figure him out.
As far as I'm concerned, after all the blatant lies Pir told us pretending to be an innocent... I fully support the death he has coming. If that results in a mafia death, I'll be overjoyed. If that results in a townie death... well, that's just something we have to accept as part of the game and continue on from there.
If nothing else, his death will put this debate about him to rest. That's good enough for me. We can all continue now to banter back and forth about this or we can all agree to just kill him and be done with it.
Piranha, it is time for you to go. You've already realized that, I'm sure. What I do believe (regardless of your role) is that you made some big mistakes this game. Don't let that discourage you... Lord only knows the bloopers I've made in lots of games I've played. We all get our share and that's how we learn what not to do next time.
I think you've learned a lot from the experience and that will make you a better player. I look forward to playing with us in the next game.
