Well, Dawg this brings me to another question for you. I just want to be sure I understand what I am reading as it is worded kinda strange. So are you saying those who posted the "screwed up" numbers are evil? I am reading it as you saying only the evil AND those who posted the screwed up numbers know. As I said I just want to be clear on what you are saying in this one.True...no one knows for sure except the scum and those who posted the screwed up the numbers. Either way it was a valid observation and may play out as a benifit in the end...then again it may not (WIFOM)
 in all seriousness, yeah that was a stupid mistake by FF but it appears out of context in my mind to look at it like a hunt for PR's. His responses are continuing to bother me, I can't put a finger on anything aside from the fact that he seems very sarcastic. For now...I vote to lynch FF
(It just comes so natural to me to type that)
define pretty darn close. with a number preferably.... :help:Not exactly half since there are 17 players but pretty darn close.
and a list with names of the rebels too....define pretty darn close. with a number preferably.... :help:
The problem with French toast is the toaster can burn your tongue.
What's the problem with Christopher Colombus?
Well, I have to go for now. So far obviously not much to go on, but I will say....Dawgs vote, the discussion of how many on each team, Kash's comments on Noods, they are the things that stand out to me at this point. None of them a huge deal IMO...just the only things that made me wonder a bit.
As far as Zaff's comments to Pap, well there could be something to it...but I will say I don't remember anything from that game either, and apparently I did well. Although, Pap stating that he didn't read the rules in sign up but commenting on how things were changed...well that doesn't look so good
"This I agree with. Why mention that but then make the bulk of your post essentially an OMGUS?"
Sorry, Zaff. I don't see the OMGUS part. Noods didn't vote me, neither did she suggest I was suspicious at all. For that matter, I'm not voting her either and it's much too early to even lean her as scummy, particularly over something like that.
My post was to throw out my thoughts after reading from where I posted last. The main point being there's nothing to go on yet. We're just getting started. Now, if I were to make something of anything I've read so far, the only thing that may be worth noting is who low-balled the rebel numbers. That's a real sketchy one though as it may have been deliberate or it may also be nothing... so let's not get too carried away over little stuff. The actual scum players may still be doing nothing scummy at all and we're more likely to chase down fellow innocents by overreacting.
"Nothing you've said about noods has any bearing on this game. Why mention something that does, but then go a totally different direction?"
Look back at my post again, Zaffy. You're giving more weight to what you saw as the "bulk" of my post but that wasn't how I "weight" what I wrote. Actually, that was making points in descending order of importance. 1st (most important) - nothing to go on. 2nd (may be important) - a few people low-balled the evil teams. Then 3rd (Noods cutsey remark) - that was added while I typed as more of an afterthought. It just took up more room to pull the quote and explain what I meant so you all would know what I was talking about, which I guess made that part "bulkier."
Now, I can see how anyone else would think Nood's little dig has no bearing on this game. For me, it does so I mentioned it. And my reason for that was already stated in the post I made.
"Lab_rat or UN were the first to talk about having uneven teams, what do you think of that?"
Precisely what I already said I think of that. It may be something; it may be nothing. That really isn't something to take into consideration all by itself. It may, however, prove worthwhile later on in combination with other things they say or do as the game continues.
So far, it's the only thing I've seen that could be interpreted as important. The danger in that though is if either of them are innocent, that's going to help the evils stay out of view.
It stood out to me because she directed the comment to me. I would obviously notice it more than someone else reading the same post since my name was mentioned when others weren't.
I understood why Noods repeated that as a quip last game after I backed off from voting her. She was evil at the time... just pretending to be innocent... and it was an effective way to "laugh off" any lingering suspicion about her I may have stirred up in the minds of other players.
For Noods to now carry this over again to another game made me think she'd do something just like that if she's evil. But she probably wouldn't have even thought of it if she's innocent. If anything, it's an indication of her mindset when evil vs. innocent. And Nood's game does change slightly based on what role she has.
Doesn't beat the App State V Michigan Game! I was elated to see that field goal blocked.that game happened a few weeks ago, and shall not EVER be talked about. EVER.
But then it wont....and then it will...and he'll change his mind on what he views bad...then flip again..... When Farve makes a decision and sticks with it it'll be like dividing by zero.Yeah, he should have stayed retired this time. Too bad it seems he's gonna end on a bad note.
or very hungry talking about pizzaJust caught up in the thread. I feel some random voting coming along, too. (Must be an evil plot to keep us uninvolved.)
What did you hope to accomplish? did you just want people talking or were you looking to muddy the waters on D1.We could make speculations about how many scum there are. From the sounds of the rules, I'd guess 3 for each scum team. Would be a high ratio of scum though, at 35% of the town being scum. If there were only 2 on each scum team it would be less than 25% of the town as scum. Maybe 3 on one scum team and 2 on the other. Any thoughts?
What did you mean UN?leaning wasn't really the word I was looking for there....
Roll Tide RollEven the best will lose one once in a while. Been a TIDE fan since I started watching football when the Bear coached. See no reason to jump ship since I was born in that state.
I don't think there is anyone new enough here to take something like that from FF seriously on D1... Why does it stick out so much to you?Not a whole lot going on except that I see FF is speculating about who the President is. Even though it is in a hypothetical conversation it doesn't seem like something an innocent would or should be doing.
For now...I vote to lynch FF
(It just comes so natural to me to type that)
I hate baconLike going to England and asking for an English Muffin or France and asking for French Fries. Bacon for us is the same as for you - side bacon made from pork belly. What you call Canadian bacon we call back bacon.
Pot me Kettlewhile i was reading this, i was thinking: What does this have to do with mafia?
So, when you get back, what does it have to do with mafia? Seems to be a wast of time to me.
GTG, BBL
He went coherent and succinct ( I believe was the word most used lol ) and he gets lynched for it. Dude can't win.I didn't see it as sarcasm at all...I saw it as a hypothetical conversation between you and a scum teammate.
It was the only thing I saw at the time I voted that even remotely made sense for a vote. With that said FF doesn't need any help "going all ranty and crazy." He's pretty good at it all on his own. It was an attempt to get this game moving to actual game play rather than pizza topping discussions. So I threw a vote out to get people talking about it. We do have to lynch someone tomorrow so we need to get some more substance. Not to mention FF still needs to be reminded when he screws up. He still quite often forgets to think before he types. If he is an innocent typing without thinking doesn't help the Town. If he is scum he should continue to type without thinking.
I do agree with Kash's comments about a scum possibly missing on the numbers of scum in the game to try and throw people off their trail. It is a good observation IMO.
why did you change your vote from FF to 2H so quickly?Pretty likely to change, but I vote to lynch TwoHobbies.
99% chance I'll change that or at least find another 2H slip, but that's just for my paranoia of UD.
I've got to go write an exhilarating 2 pages of American Government homework. See you guys later![]()
He's got a point on that one, last game iirc was rife with posts saying why they couldn't postTo me it doesn't look like the remark was in anyway directed at you personally. The joke involved you, yes, but that is different.
Midgets perhaps. What you couldn't make one person half bad, half good?![]()
Opps left my comments off in the last post.
So why did you feel the "need" to vote at the time though? Yes, he does need to be reminded, but the vote just seems a little overboard at this point in time...more like someone trying to get something started IMO
As far as Kash's comment being a "good observation" well, really that could go either way..are ya trying to get on her good side?
Well, Dawg this brings me to another question for you. I just want to be sure I understand what I am reading as it is worded kinda strange. So are you saying those who posted the "screwed up" numbers are evil? I am reading it as you saying only the evil AND those who posted the screwed up numbers know. Something about violence, slavery, and forcing indigenous people to convert to christianity. Besides, he wasn't the first European to travel to North America. Strong evidence suggests that Vikings visited as far south as the Yucatan Peninsula, and West to the Mississippi river. Prior to that Persians may have traveled into the Caribbean. And even before that, there's clear evidence that early people traveled across an Atlantic ice sheet around the same time as people from Asia came over the Bering land bridge. Of course, expeditions from Asia are a whole other story. .
