A pair of small clown loaches would look great for a while, you would have to exchange them for smaller ones after a while...

+1 on clowns, except 2 isn;'t the best bet, at least 3 because IME, the smaller clown loach always gets beat up so 3 equalizes the aggression.

They need more room than 30" - they're very active, and also ich prone. Like cories, they need to be in groups of more than 2 or 3. I wouldn't include them. Try zebra loaches instead.

I figured. My friend has a 100g tank with Clowns and those are huge. The only problem I have is that the FSAE is aggressive and will actively chase any fish near him on the ground level.
