Mafia 95 - "Mayor's Mansion" (The Play)

Really Labby, that is a stretch. You are smarter than this. I have played enough to know what I was opening myself up for.

I answered questions that were put to me. If you don't want the same answers quit asking the same questions.

Frankly, I am tired of repeating myself.

I saw something that didn't sit well with me (based on experience from past games). I believed it enough to offer myself up for today's lynch if I was wrong. Yes I stuck my neck out pretty far (sometimes you have to do that).

I took a mighty big risk to keep the town from making what I thought would be a mistake. I just forgot how complacent some can be as long as it isn't their own neck in the noose.

If trying to keep the town from lynching an innocent is scummy then lynch me and see what turns up.
Wow, the whole lynch me if I'm wrong bit...that sends a huge red flag in the air!

Paul's random vote for Labby also kind of reminds me of how he played scum in Mafia 46. I was C-note that game.

Paul's involvement thus far is pretty much what I'd expect, regardless of alignment...

Wiz, any comments on my post #876?
So you are saying he played like he did when scum...but he is playing how you would expect him to rather he was innocent or evil?

Think about it guys, this is a numbers game.

With their nightly hit we are guaranteed to lose 1 innocent every night. Can we also afford to lynch an innocent right along side them?

We had FF and Spence tied for the lynch. They got there on their own accord because of their posting. If I was wrong, it would have not been difficult to get them back on the block. Especially considering we have the best players playing this game.

Would it make sense for me to put myself through what I did just to postpone lynching one innocent to lynch another?

If you step back and look at it objectively, that is what you are accusing me of doing.

Yes, it sure is a numbers game...and scum try pretty darn hard at keeping up with what the numbers are and how much they have to do before getting the win. Not saying innocents do not look at the numbers, but IME scum seem to keep an eye one the numbers more then most.

Because wasting a day looking at someone playing his first time will get us no where, badger him enough and he will look scummy. I am sorry I got involved in it on day one.
Ok, I see what you mean..just didn't want to assume anything.

We really won't know how quiet the scum were until we know your role. What concerns me the most about your gut feeling is that you were suddenly so certain that we had two innocents that you offered yourself up for a run off tonight if one turned scum. I had doubts but it could have went either way I wouldn't be offering myself up for a lynch in that situation.
Exactly

I think an innocent would try to prove they are innocent by not moving a vote like that. I guess a mafia could just as well do the same thing but I'm not sure FF would. I think if FF was scum or a PR he would have moved his vote JMHO.

I had a feeling the scum were comfortable because there was not much vote moving going on. People just piled on the 2 top nominees. If one or both of them were scum I think the votes would have been more spread around.

Good points JPap

Obviously your opinions differ from mine but I still am entitled to my own opinion ;)
Yes, you are :)

I'm here, going to make a quick vote and then I'll be back on around 6:30-7ish and again around nightfall.

I vote to lynch MC for putting a vote out so quickly after the lynch, along with not providing any substantial reasoning for their votes so far. And NPR, I thought spencer was scummiest at that point in my rereading, by the time I finished it was night. I ended up liking my vote on FF, both him and spencer dug their own graves.

So you are saying he played like he did when scum...but he is playing how you would expect him to rather he was innocent or evil?

Reread Wiz's original question...it was whether Paul's level of involvement up to that point might be a scumtell. My answer was "No." IMO Paul's level of involvement doesn't tell me anything...it was his random vote that I found interesting, as it was similar to what he did when he played scum in the mafia game I quoted.

Well I'm glad I'm bothering you cause the only time I don't is when you're scum. I seen reasons to vote for either of them. Being FF and noob the reasons were not conclusive. Either or both could have been scum I was more content with a coin flip then a guess.
;)

Grenade or NERF dart, who cares? The point is that you threw it. Doesn't make sense seeing that Wiz has been giving you warm fuzzies inside.

The object of the game is for the town to work together, and apparently you've been liking what you've been seeing from Wiz. So why lob that NERF dart his way? If you're town and feeling good about him, wouldn't you want others to feel the same way too?

I mean it's fine if you were asking a question for further clarification, but you tossed something at him that he couldn't defend against. Kind of a weird way to show your blossoming trust for him.
Yep, it is a pretty "weird" way.

LG, papp always plays his roles good either mafia, PR or townie, is he always someone to watch yes but I never said he wasn't innocent but he hasnt said anything to make me think otherwise. Why would you come in with limited computer time and ask me this of all things? Has papp said anything to make you lean towards mafia, am I missing something please let me know?

I guess it don't really make sense why she would and I guess that she could of placed a vote somewhere else. But what if chill or our UD would of came in and placed a vote on FF then DD would not of looked too guilty at all as others placed a vote on Spence.

I would also like to know?

Are you saying you helped lynch an innocent really?

Dawg (481) Wizard (600) Chill (733) DD (645) Ok, so wizard, chill and dawg voted to lynch DD in the first night. Today has turned up some suspicion on wizard and chill, we will get to that later. Look at the final votes on DD minus dawgs vote, Wizzards vote was late and then chill was last to cast a vote. Neither of them had much to say about DD beforehand. Those votes to me were safety votes, dawg may also of been playing safe.

I am not going to repeat myself over and over again.

How is it scummy please elaborate?
Just because my time is limited, doesn't mean I shouldn't ask questions does it? No Pap has done nothing to "stand out", but in no way does that lean him innocent for me. I spose you didn't see last game did ya. You say your self right here how he can play any role...so if you agree with that I don't see how you can lean him innocent?

Day 2 - Vote Count

1 DD - MC (783)
4 MC - Wizard (991) Dawg (994) Jpap (1003) UN (1014)
1 Chill - Lab (1001)
2 Wizard - Mad (1006) JB (1009)

No Votes: Zaffy, AAF, DD, Rich, Ninja, Spencer, Lady G, Rbishop, Bally, Chill.

Nightfall in 5-1/2 hours. PMs please.

Don't make me write another UD scene, you no-voters. Guarantee it won't be nice. ;)

So you are saying he played like he did when scum...but he is playing how you would expect him to rather he was innocent or evil?

Right now I wouldn't mind seeing both MC and Chill on the block. Both have sent up red flags. I don't like how the tie was so important to Chill. I don't like how MC was pretty absent day 1, voted immediately after nightfall, and used Wiz's postulation on why I was the random pick as his reason for randomly picking me. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to get on throughout the day so I'm going to vote now. I vote to lynch Chill. I could easily switch to MC though.

Lady G....that frequently sends up at least a few banners to watch, luckily it wasn't a role claim.

LR....not much out there to look at actually, and you may have picked the two best candidates so far. Still early in the game though...odds of hitting scum are pretty low, could be another night of folks lynching themselves over day one posts.

I don't see anything scummy about DD at the time regardless what has been said (not that much actually).

Besides placing a "I just don't like you vote" on Spencer or AAF, looks like it may be a Chill/Wiz/MC type of coin toss for me. Makes me wonder if it was an even split vote by the town would the Docs protection ever be seen on the coin toss...

ill have to vote when i get home. i just got my cast. i broke two bones in my ankle. i also have to go to a softball game most likely so i dont have much time for mafia. anybody know how to bold on a cellphone?
