Mafia 96 Who Are You? Game Thread

i assume the above bolded then starts after first night fall? if not, then there was day 1 and day 2 for each so far. i could easily be reading that wrong.

I think that the mayor/don would send in their invest during the day (now), and it would be revealed to them in a PM at nightfall. This means that they've only had 1 invest completed so far (Revealed to only them on night 1)

does this mean you thought both FF and Spencer were scum? Care to explain?
no im saying mafia could of very well voted for FF just to get an easy vote, of course they wouldnt know he was scum yet, so i didnt wanna be a part of that since i had no idea what he was, so i went with someone that no one had voted for.

as to why I'm not inclined to give reasons - the jury is mostly scum how do you build a case that compells scum to lynch scum?

but the scum doesn't know who the other scum is, so for all they know you could be on their team and be building a case on a common enemy. If that makes any sense...

k, that makes much more sense. I agree, he would be a good place to hide a vote. However, there was so much random voting that scum could've found plenty of good places....

You are still forgetting about the part where you went back and found a reason to vote for FF after the fact. That's the part that makes no sense in this time line.
See, THIS is what bugs me more then anything

when its the beggining, you dont have enough to go on and you dont feel comfortable lynching him especially when he gets lynched first almost every game bc hes an easy target. just bc mafia cant communicate doesnt mean they cant think a like. i switched to spence just bc he had no one on him thats the only reason.
So, you know he get's lynched quite a bit, bc he's a easy target...why would you pick him as a "random" in the first place? He had no one on him (Spence) but he was also a likely UD.
Well shame on me for not being perfect, G. In the quote you grabbed I said it correctly.

And for goodness sakes...going after a noob is hardly what it was...I pretty much picked a random vote and hoped it would work in the interest of the game.

Invests are in the nightime events if I am not mistaken. For pretty much every game they are.
Look Pap, I really don't want to get into a big back and forth distracting thing with you, my first post to you I corrected you, you never acknowledged the fact you mis spoke, then tried to turn around and say you didn't. I say you went after a noob, you say you didn't...it is what it is. At this point I really do not have you leaning one way or the other, but when it comes to you I look at everything and note it.

so I have to build a case that looks like a set up to the scum, but looks legitimate to the town? any suggestions on how to do that?

Seriously Chill...come on your better then that!

I think in this format spreading out is a better plan of action as it helps limit who the bosses look at each night and we can use that in future days.
Agree with this thought.

I'm here, sorry it took so long guys. I should be back to normalish posting now that I'm at my dads and the computer works here. I'm catching up now.
I am surprised you are not "rereading".

The thing with AFF to me, with his "panic" to change his vote the only reason I could see him being soooo worried about his vote on FF is...if he is mafia and actually thought FF was going to come up innocent, switched to someone with no votes , and looked to be a UD at that point.
This was my thought too. He didn't want to be on someone who might show innocent. Guilty conscience and all.

I'd like to hear more from MC and AAF, but one of them will be recieving my vote.
Then 10 min later:
My vote is obviously subject to change, but I vote to lynch Dun.
Wow, something must have happened in those 10 min for you to completely change your mind.

so between "it's night" and "game on" each night, then? alrighty, makes more sense what you guys were saying then.
That's usually how things are done and I don't see anything in the rules to indicate it to be any different for this game.

as to why I'm not inclined to give reasons - the jury is mostly scum how do you build a case that compells scum to lynch scum?
Brilliant. No one should give any reasons then. That will get us far this game. :screwy:
