Ice is my biggest suspect. i dont like the way he contradicted himself on spreading the votes and then pushing a tie and i also dont like the way hes wording some of his posts. so for now
i vote to lynch Ice.

you should have waited a bit. breaking the tie right now looks more like self preservation than anything you can post or say will convince anyone otherwise. smart move. i probably would have done the same thing... but bad timing... especially with 2 votes left unaccounted for, 2 that could easily move for a decision and over 5 hours left til nightfall.

It took me a moment to figure out what Dag was talking about above...so I took out the rest of the post to just the point....




So Ice...you first say...how if someone states someone else is innocent (or the think) we can conclude they are scum right? Then you go on to say "but I'd lean him innocent" (in your 5th grade explanation to me). So yet again you have gone against your own words (the first time being the spread out votes/tie votes shenanigans).

There is a difference between saying someone is innocent and leaning someone innocent. I'm not saying Dag is innocent just that his actions seem innocent at this time.

What if I said I think you are the Don and investigated Kash then took Dags argument and used it against me?

Even Dag admits its only a gut feeling. Dom we really want to go on gut feelings at this time?

Leaning someone innocent is not calling them innocent, so I am confused by how he went against his own words. Now if he'd come out and said that he thought Dag was innocent that would be a different story.

Are you defending Ice? That certainly sounded like it.

Until I'm investigated and see others on my team I will never be 100% sure they are innocent but I can lean them innocent until proven otherwise. But if someone I feel is scummy defends me then I'll know they are scum...

What do you have to say about LR defending you (or at least speaking for you) Ice?

I feel like Ice got nervous when I was questioning him about the strategy of spreading the vote and then having a tie. He went from I'm not going to argue it anymore:

I'm not going to argue it anymore, if you like your vote on me then great. Just understand I couldn't and didn't benefit by pushing for a tie. There is no strategy in it at all. I don't look any better that UN showed scum so I can't take any credit for it. If anything I'd be more screwed if he came up innocent. So tell me where you see strategy and how I benefited from it?

Kash if you'd pull the posts for me since I can't find them.....where did the majority of the town decide it was best not to spread out the votes?

Dag, what part of the situation changed in a way to prevent spreading the votes don't you get? If you hadn't jumped on UN so quickly I'd think you were scum. Your theory is flawed and is preventing yourself and others from looking at others.
I also don't see how AAF voting a UD is any different then UN voting a UD.

Rich I am also wary of DD and Zaffy. Zaffy usually has more to say whereas DD is normally quiet but after being called out on her LBF vote freak out post shes been abnormally quiet.

AAF DD or Zaffy will probably get my vote.

I never said its the only way. I said a good chance.

Certain actions might lean someone innocent ie Dag voting UN so quickly for a scum move, but even that doesn't make him innocent. He could be scum and thought he caught an innocent in a compromised position. But I'd lean him innocent until I feel otherwise. But I wouldn't come out and defend him.

That feels like he was trying to placate to me and stop the questioning. First he's going to stop "arguing", then he tries to divert attention to other people, then he votes for AAF (which is well after the post I made about if he was sure AAF was scum why hadn't he voted for him already), to I'm leaning Dag innocent. It really just seems like he would say anything to get me to stop questioning him.

Yeah, but you would expect a teammate to interject somehow since all 3 would be jockeying to get the other lynched.

And I don't understand why you think you and DD shouldn't be scrutinized for contributing little to the town. I've seen both of you slide by as scum posting little and claiming busyness irl (which may be true but still).

A teammate doesn't need to, besides the fact that who is likely to invest UN or AAF on night 1 to make them a teammate in the first place. I doubt in this set up a teammate would step forward and reveal anything because they don't even know that they are teammates.

we had a lot of movement with a 2 way tie. makes your movement theory a moot point altogether.

50% is the case no matter how many of what are going down. there's only two possible outcomes when someone is investigated.

same can (and almost did) happen in a 2 way tie.

In most 2 way tie cases the two lynchees end up voting eachother, in those cases they are locked in. if they move then they die. That's why 2 way ties are more betterer than 3 way ties. a 2 way would force a teammate to act to save. again, in this set up people don't even know their teams so it's almost pointless anyway. I see the focus on ties in this format, especially on the early nights to be a distraction at best.

The only time I admitted you were a gut feeling was after night one when I asked for list. Yesterday someone asked me if there was any other reason other than what I had listed out about you already and I said in addition to the argument was just a gut feeling.

I've had a few minutes to skim through to catch up, and figured I'd put a couple of thoughts out there before getting back to paper work.

The Labby/Ice/Dag debaucle: I don't get it. None of it. Not Ice's strategy, not the craziness around the voting last night, and certainly not Dag's single mindedness in using the voting as a scum tell. Ice... you're way smarter than me at this game, so I'm not surprised I don't get your strategy. I wasn't around for a lot of the crazy voting, but I'm stoked with how it turned out. Dag... you seem like a smart guy. The few times I've played with you, I remember generally following your line of thought. This time it's a different story. Things change in this game all the time. If we don't allow people to adopt a new strategy based on new information then we might as well all be scummy together. Here's my question for you, Dag... other than the votes and Ice's "strategy" what other evidence do you have against eihter Ice or Labby? Please put it out there, 'cause they are two of my favorites to nail as scum. If they are, I wanna be on board. But so far, I'm just not with you. Mind you, I'm not saying they're innocent; I just don't see the case against them to this point.

I still like my vote on AAF, and for now it will stick. I'm going to try to get back to the thread after I get my real work done, but it might end up late, so I can't say for sure.

Ok, think I need that 5th grade translation again...If you think I'm Don, but invest Kash and use Dags argument against yourself...what exactly are you saying there?

i shouldve, but im voting for who i think is scum, not just self perservation. even if i wasnt on the chopping block i would vote for Ice.
