Perhaps I misunderstood the poster - I thought since the original poster asked about food, they were looking to raise the fry.
Yes, I was trying / kinda hoping that a couple or so might survive. I just want to increase their chances, but can't catch them.
Planted, but not quite heavily, hopefully when everything has grown in it will qualify for that lol. Maybe moderately planted can be claimed.
After posting last time I saw another fry nearly half an inch, it looked almost the same as the other little ones I'd seen but it didn't have spots, almost completely clear except near the head it's kinda creamy on the inside. It was cleaning the pottery like the otos do.
I'm starting to think I might have oto and (bronze) cory fry (yay!)
(Been trying to find pics and stuff. Unfortunately the pics look pretty much the same for both, lol!)
I guess maybe changing the substrate and nearly all the water (and maybe not having a heater anymore?) may have contributed to the sudden spawning (and maybe the rise in pH and alkilinity?)?
I wish I had a bigger tank! But I'd have to get rid of my bed.... heeheehee!
Just when I thought they might have all been eaten (or were hiding in the plants..) I saw one this morning, one of the little spotted ones, looked all fat and happy! I guess they are finding something to eat (just want to make sure it's enough).
Would the bronze cory fry have spots?
(Oh and I found the receipt for I guess what would have to be the male cory, 10/26, so these eggs must 'sprout' fast!)
Thanks!
