I am well aware of the "report" icon and use it often for spam. (I never did like the taste of fried spam sandwiches). I think you know me well enough that I generally don't make announcements of "what I am going to do", I just do it. Leave here? I had considered it, but decided it was just as easy to stop posting and not get involved in the dust ups.

I don't mind telling someone to take a long walk off a short pier, but sometimes it needs to come from mods other than you. That's your battle to fight and not mine. Good luck with them.

This forum has gremlins and DD. You are not the first to suffer this fate and you won't be the last. It's just one of the freaky things that happens here from time to time. Stay here awhile and you'll see it happen to someone else.
 
This thread was sparked by MY comment. I find it amusing that most of you, when questioned on your post, state, "I was voicing my opinion, blah blah blah", This entire thread was sparked because I VOICED MY OPINION.

The irony runs thick in this thread, as does the hypocrisy. If my posts "offended" you so much that you are willing to never return to this site again, and must leave so dramatically that you have to start a thread about it, I really hope you never have to venture out into the real world. When you do you will find that there are many people that act differently than you do and believe different things than you do.. Oh, and they might actually say or act in a way that is offensive to you.. OMG!!! Guess what people?? That is what we call life..

Being totally insensitive to someone who is in pain is not called life, it is called being uncaring. I can only hope that if you are in the same situation someone has more care in their heart for you than what you have exhibited towards Doug.
 
What are you going to go when someone says something offensive in real life, say at your job? Quit? Really?

If I am so offensive to you, why the dramatic possible exit? Why not just not return??

The OP of the thread in question has quite a history of not typing with correct grammar or spelling and despite the many times people have pointed it out, they continue posting in that matter. I feel like it wasn't that hard to look past given the content of the original post.

Then again, I'm just "voicing my opinion"...

Because I enjoy publicly humiliating someone who deserves it, too be honest.
 
I get that, but come on.. Really?? I have talked to him numerous times.. It isnt due to a "learning disability". I grew up with Dyslexia and suffered a brain injury in the Military. Spell checks are the easy way to get past that.. I feel it is laziness that keeps him posting in the fashion he does. Posting a post of say 30 words and 25 of them are misspelled is just lazy.
