Osmocote as fert?

Way to call me out Platytudes!! Lol!! I sort of got out of hobby for awhile. Was only doing required maintence, but have recently rekindled my fire, so to speak.

So it looks like Bob just buys Osmocote and stuffs them in caps. Is that right?
He doesn't say so on his site, so I'm thinking he doesn't want this to be known, but I think so, yes.

I have absolutely no problem buying these pre-made. I really don't feel like stuffing a bunch of caps myself or buying empty capsules from the health food store.

Also, I think his price is totally reasonable.

new method.

00 sized capsules from an organic or health food place or nutrition center.

fill them with osmocote and push under the substrate. about 5 per square foot of planted substrate per every month or 3 should be more than plenty.

but definitely find yourself a good, steady carbon supply. nothing will make your plants happier than clean water and a good carbon supply.

I know earlier here was some discussion about Osmocote vs Osmocote Plus. Plus is better for root tabs as it has Both Micro and Macro. While Osmocote regular does not. I also know one worry was copper for inverts.. While there is a copper content its so low that it doesnt effect inverts at all.
