Thanks pat, looootsa high blood pressure in this joint.

murphy, watch out you don't fall off that soap box, you might end up like that fish - N

Okay folks, back on topic please..thanks.

No worries, I'm permanently attached.

Bishop- you want to delete my posts, go ahead but don't change my words. Its not as rude as jokes about euthanizing people in wheelchairs but its still not appreciated.

So at this point I've had a few opinions that I WOULD share but it seems it would only serve as invitation for.. I don't know WHAT this is! I do know that this is not an open exchange of ideas and information. Good work folks.

Edit: heckling? Lambasting? A little nit-picking?

For my part, I wouldn't want to watch it but I have never observed that condition myself and don't believe I can make an informed decision from only a photograph. If it was my fish, I would observe its behavior to include swimming, eating, interactions with other fish, etc. before making my final decision to euthanize or not.

I'm not sure if the thread has degenerated into an argument, I only read up to this point, but I agree with the above. Observe first, euthanize later. Sometimes fish with bent spines can still live a relatively normal, comfortable life. They don't have to be in perfect form.

Mmm, well, now I'm up to speed, or maybe some posts were deleted, but I still stand by my statement.

Betting is illegal where I live, I thank you for not suggesting I take place in illegal activities, I'm sure the TOS will clearly state illegal activities are not welcome on this site thank you - N
Re-read my post carefully! You were not invited to wager, you sir are the subject of the wager!

Something else I'll add, I had a molly once that got sucked into the filter and I didn't know it. The bottom of the intake tube had fallen off without my knowledge. When I realized it, I quickly looked inside the filter and there she was. Her spine was all kinds of bent and she looked terrible. I watched her all night, and by morning she was much better, in a few days completely recovered, no more bent spine. Thankfully I gave her some time to recover.

Subrosa, have fun with it.

Fins, that's my whole point, no reason to off with the head unless nessicary - N

Speaking of rolo's I wouldn't mind a caramello or two :)
