The ice method will work, I had to do it to a fish once and it was awefully slow. My severum took about 8 min to pass via that method

Knife to the head usually works. Sever it quick though. I had a buddy who had a rasbora that looked like that...thing turned out pretty healthy.

I had a zebra danio with a bent spine (assumed it was genetic) but not to that extreme. I would euthanize as I can't imagine it has a high quality of life.

I cannot see that as living. It suffers trying to swim and fight for food. Euthanize, but quickly so it suffers no pain.

I would euthanise the poor thing.You could euthanise with clove oil as well, they go to sleep and its painless(at least that's what I have heard)

Like I said we have our own opinion lol. I myself do not think it's suffering. As long as it eats, swims and thrives let it live. But there ya go, just my opinion. But I won't say more on the subject it is your fish not mine so you have to do what you think is best
