Mafia 106: Pokemafia

Let's be fair here...I mentioned it only twice before I voted for AAF. The third time was right at nightfall, certainly not a time when I was going to change my vote to a single one.

Can you comment on why you said that AAF was lynched over his "joke" when he most certainly wasn't?

I do not think that he would have been lynched soles for the manner of his selection of vote if he hadn't already been involved in all that chaos over his joke.

I'm telling you that his joke never even crossed my mind when I placed my vote. I don't think Coler or Zaffy ever even addressed AAF specifically in that regard. Coler took the conversation and focused on the Neph part. Zaffy's vote can't be shed in any poor light considering we know he is innocent. I think you're certainly misinterpreting why AAF was voted.

He was hardly even involved in the "chaos" to begin with. I dropped the questioning after realizing it was a strict interpretation of what he said to you.

You can't have it both ways. Either AAF is responsible for what he posts, or he shouldn't be lynched for what he says (which is a horrible precedent to set). The "easy vote" theory has become a nice way to throw dirt at those who had a relatively legitimate reason, at the time, to vote for an innocent. It's rather ironic that the "easy vote" is often times more scrutinized than the easier votes (aka joke votes). At the very least, the three who voted AAF for his flub took a chance rather than sitting back on a single vote for no apparent reason.

Also, there's no math involved as each coin flip is independent of what has happened in previous games. I don't think you can even begin to assume that it would be anything other than a 50/50.
I tried to answer the rest of this but my computer crashe so here goes...

AAF is an easy vote on D1 almost every game...period end of story! Just like FF used to be.

I just call it like I see it...9 times out of 10 the innocent gets whacked. That is less than 50/50.

Hey guys, has anyone else noticed that Dawg was both voting for Zaffy and that Zaffy said Dawg was a suspect and the Zaffy got killed?

Yes, but that doesn't help much as there are few experienced mafia players who would use an evils hit on someone they suspect. Unless Dawg KNEW Zaffy was the doc (which shouldn't be possible) he wouldn't risk himself that much I think.

I've been meaning to address this...

I think I made two observations - the first was that a query Neph asked on the rules was pretty much redundant. Which it was. And if I'm correct the second was in connection with my sense that he was taking something you said and promoting it into something which it wasn't (the avatar thing) or at the least cosying up to you. I stand over both observations/queries as legitimate.
While I have my reservations about Neph, what about the rule question stands out to you as scummy?

Also, how did Neph promote anything I said into something it wasn't? While I wasn't to keen about the compliment portion, I didn't see any twisting of my words.

I believe that is what I implied. Are you really going to tell me you put much thought into voting for Zaffy? There's your defense right there.

Him being a PR is practically irrelevant to the ease of your vote. If you're innocent or even scum, any forethought of voting for a PR would have been nearly impossible. What your vote looks like right now has no bearing on why you made the "decision" on D1 to place that vote. The scum killed Zaffy, your vote didn't matter on the surface. Unless you think the WIFOM "I wouldn't hit the person I voted for" excuse really needs to be discussed? Because that's a waste of time.
lol...I didn't say that. You and Coler both said I was trying to hide on a single vote. If I was scum and trying to hide (as you are implying) why
the heck would I hit the person I was voting for? There is no WIFOM.

I probably am... but anyway, what do you think about the other parts of my post, the ones not involving you?

And every game he's innocent? Or just 9 times out of 10?
