Setting up My 46 Bow... Round 2!

oh no, not pH chemicals :(

those are not a good idea. it's better to acclimate your fish to your water.

I only added a few drops and it did nothing.. haha.

pH is at 7.6 still, nitrites are at 0, nitrites around 0.1, ammonia around .1, and temp around 79. Added five more cories and two plants, and planting them stirred up a bit of dust.

Looks very nice! I set a 46 gallon bow up a few weeks ago in anticipation of relocating my monster tinfoil barb, ancient reed fish, and clown pleco. Used plastic ornaments and live plants, and let it run for about a week before moving my fish.

I know the tank is small for a tinfoil, but this is only a temporary home until I get my own place.

If you've been following along, you know I had to drain and fill a new tank recently. Since then, I changed the outflow, removed the airstone, added a UV sterilizer, a few plants, a new piece of driftwood, and changed the scape. I'm getting happier and happier with it. I still have a few things that need tweaking, but it's slowly starting to settle out.

The Tank--This photo was created with 3 off camera flashes, and I blended the exposures from 3 separate images.

Still looking really nice. The background really blends nicely with the tank. Am really liking the look of real driftwood now!

Same. The other background wasn't cutting it, so I put this one back on.
