I had ordered some fake vals off Amazon but amazon canceled the order the day they were supposed to arrive. But i added a big tall fake cabomba plant. All plants in this tank are fake.
One of our apple snails died today unfortunately. He got stuck in the aquaclear filter tube. Theyre too big to fit through but somehow he did :/

Ask my CAT why!! Haha... that piece of driftwood was lodged in being held down by the lid of the tank. My bratty cat decided to jump up on the tank to get to the lucky bamboo (which also had to be removed!) So now the bamboo is gone, he keeps jumping up to find the plants... which moves the lid, which knocks the driftwood out of place, which terrified the fish each time. So i removed the driftwood and its taken me some time to figure out how to make the tank look good while keeping the fish happy too, cherry barbs like a lot of plants, theyre shy.
Go on, ask him!

have you considered ember tetras for any of your tanks? I think they would look facinating.Also question on pygmy cories- are they pretty shy, and do you then they can be outcompeted for food easily?
