My tanks

hi thx for replying i manged to resolve the issue by putting the shrimp in a small container for a hour each time it hurt it and after like 3 times is calmed down
....but now i have a new problem:rolleyes: so i got a other guppy and they are both males and are starting to nip tails is this common? the guppy that was first here is attacking the newcomer so should i do the same thing i did with for the shrimp or wait for a while
thx

you may want this on a different thread...
However, the 'ghost shrimp' sounds to be a crayfish instead. They will be aggressive no matter what and not a good aquarium pet (at least not in the same aquarium as your fish). It is a dilemma. Unfortunately, having a single tank, you may need to choose fish or cray-fish, not both. Good luck!
how do i start a new one?

With keeping male guppies, keep 3 or more to spread out aggression, as they do form a hierarchy. Thats normal with many livebearer males.

You see, I don't have access to that kind of wood that you use for your 10g and 20g because thats the kind of look I would want for my new 20 gallon :D

I just have branchy root stumps.

I really like your 10g design, I might steal that ?

No thats my planted 20. But theyre all planted now, so gonna need a new name for them haha

I actually totally love the set up. Only thing i might change is the thinner piece of driftwood branch. I may put that in another tank instead and keep this one simple with that huge piece.

Mine is collected from my local freshwater river. Then baked or boiled depending on size to kill anything bad.

Where i collected that piece.

My 10g had some small pieces, theres 3. Two of them were given to me by family from a tank i had as a kid, and 1 was collected at the same place the huge one was.

Feel free to use them!

Btw amazon has similar types of driftwood for decent prices :)
