Eyyyyy! A 55 gallon :D

I expect to see more unusual fish to keep your record straight :)
Ahahahaha I'm trying to be good with this one, I got a long term plan :p

Once my livebearers have lived out their days, I'm going to divide my stock.

My Asian fish in my 46 and my SA fish in the 55.

So gouramis, barbs, and loaches in the 46.
And tetras and catfish in the 55.

Can't say I haven't picked up a few more different cories, but hey.

Like this guy.

Would it technically be a spotted hoplo cat rather than a "hoplo" catfish?

Honestly, I'll probably just end up going by its scientific name because there's a much more common and larger hoplo called "spotted hoplo" (Megalechis thoracata) and this species "spotted hoplo" (hoplosternum punctatum)

Looking very good all! You have an eye for aquascaping. Well done on hiding the equipment like the heater in the 55. I have that same rock background in one of my tanks it looks good.
