I love to spoil my fish with many food choices too :) even when not trying to breed them.

Very nice you have a second female, lets hope the boys don't run out of steam (ahem). I think the females will produce more eggs as they get the hang of this eggs laying stuff. You know they often work up to bigger spawns, just when you're trying new things! Fingers crossed

Fingers crossed. For now though, I've got my hands busy with other youngsters.

10 pygmy juveniles are going to new homes this week, same with 4 sparkling gourami juveniles too. Still got about a dozen sparkling gouramis still growing and another dozen or so aeneus corydoras fry.

So there's still good news to be happy with for me. I'll keep at it with the weitzmani, but ive got a lot still to focus on as well :D

Oh, I thought all your sparklers were rehomed. Raising fry is lots of work & you've been having lots of fry!
Nah, been selling the ones that get big enough as they grow, instead of all at once.

It is an assembly line. The eggs drop onto one end and shippable fry fall off the other end -->
Easy peasy lemon squeezy.

I think my aeneus are feeling the NoodleCats vibe with all your cory spawnings, or from watching the vids, lol. I cleaned the glass (finally) & they thought I was feeding special spawning treats! I have 5, 2 very rotund females & I think 3 males, too many plants to see very clearly but there was some chasing & "activity" going on...fun times!

Mine like to lay strictly where the filter outlets are, my aeneus, so keep a close eye on those spots :D

Good to know, TY. I have a spray bar & an HOB that cover most of my 4ft tank. I'm not very concerned about fry survival right now...but it would be cool if even a couple fry might make it...You & corys are inspiring mine!
