55 Gallon River Setup

If you watch close you might see a couple cory fry out and about

OK, I did see a cory or 2, I guess...but this doesn't hold with your usual vids & pics. I'm going to need some better 1s soon. But at least I don't need your "circling" anymore like with your tiny fry...LOL.

Yeah only 2 made an appearance. They're still quite small. The tank seems very empty haha. The plecos don't come out during lights on, so aside from the very tiny cories all scattered about, I don't see a whole lot around. It's a very quiet tank.

But husband wants me to wait until my birthday (in May) to add anymore fish, which is more than fine because it gives the cory babies a lot of time to grow and not risk being eaten by anything added. So it's a win win, as much as I'd love to see some more activity lol

Nothing like a grow out break for a few tank rethinks. I'm kinda there now but with less cool fish...My husband wants us to have more fish...right now!! I'm not ready just yet...kinda walking the spousal tightrope...so no fish yet...sigh...but he does get a (lesser?) vote...Maybe after the holidays?

Nah he's firm on the waiting to May, and I'm okay with that too. It'll be warmer then, I won't have to deal with the extra worry that comes with shipping in winter. I've done it, but I'd rather avoid it.

Plus, gives me a lot of time to research around.

The baby paleatus are doing fantastic, still small but the largest of them has officially reached 1 inch in size 🥳

Some photos, plus one of the chaetostoma. Theyre starting to come out more. Definitely some bickering going on here and there while they all sort out territory.

I adore your paleatus fry!!

OK, you know I'd say, but I don't see your chaetostomas...I might need remedial circling help, I just can't see them after studying...in any of your latest pics...I feel very lame...Help me Cass!! I'd like to see...

Hahaha! Very funny! Yeah, I could see that guy, TY for circling anyway...Much easier for both of us with only 1 big fish to find. LOL!
Yeah, but still funny trying to find then. Most have dug holes in the sand under the rockwork haha so much for any deep sand beds I made, they've flattened them

This one likes this log though, it's always under it there.

I tried so hard to keep snails out. It did not work hahahaha they came in on plants from the other tanks, I thought I removed all eggs but alas here we are. Oh well, at least they're cute. Look at his antenna blowing in the flow.
