So, I'm seeing many of you have tanks in your office. I have a small (2.5g) tank I would like to take to my office. I work at a LARGE private school (Milton Hershey School). I think the kids that come by to visit would enjoy it as much as I.

Since this is such a baby tank what would be the best fishie to put in? It is cycled already since I have been using it as a QT tank. I plan a 10g to replace this one for a QT tank.

Your ideas are appreciated!

Betta and an apple snail

I have no experience with Betas. Any particular kind?

+ pardon my ignorance....what is an apple snail?

well I dont think the kind of betta really matters
and an apple snail is...well a kind of snail lol I think you just drop in an algae water in every once in a while for them and they will also eat extra food

don't get an apple snail for a tank that small. they need 5G minimum.

just get one betta and nothing else.

i would say one male betta and a snail, 2 male endlers (basically dwarf guppies), a few shrimp, or dwarf frog. I'm not positive, but I also think you can get a feeder comet or two.

those are good suggestions except for the feeder comets. thats like putting 2 oscars in there. in fact, it's worse than putting 2 oscars in there.
