I don't know.....everyone in that tank looked quite healthy and alert, the tank is VERY clean and no substrate so nitrate buildup probably isn't much of a concern if water changes are done regularly.

If it's an lfs tank than it's a temporary home until they are bought and moved out. I think I read that it's an lfs tank.... am I mistaken ?

It is Li's tank, but he doesnt do water changes. It has enough filtration for over 1000 gallons and has a 24 hour constant water change setup.

With that system the nitrates never raise and fall. They stay constantly low while keeping ALL other water parameters in check. It's really an awesome way to do it.
