I still dont see how 11 people think flushing is the best way...... does osme1 who voted for this wanna tell me why, that doesnt actually kill them

im with malbri, i would like to here from the people that chose flushing why this is a humane way to euthanize your fish.:help:

I was shocked to see that it was voted on as much as freezing or boiling water.

Four pound meat cleaver...if they are small, hit them with the flat side, larger fish get the edge...pretty instantaneous.

Alternatively, you get out the liquid nitrogen.....(yes, freezing can be instantaneous, too).

Liquid nitrogen: instant ice cube. The problem is getting some..

See, and I just thought everyone had some at home....perhaps I am uncommon/weird.

I think all peoples fish are different... LOL
I like flushing (only if it a VERY sick fish... and could die ANY second)

ps, FC22... does this remind you af anything? LOL;)

ding ding ding, we have another torturous comment by Daayda. Congrats.

There is really no worst way to die for anyone then drowning in sewage.

I guess it depends. When I was in college, it would be pretty easy to get a Dewer from a lab. Now? Well, our horse vet specializes in AI on cattle, I guess he has a source. He's kinda a crusty guy and would probably think it pretty wierd if I told him what I wanted it for. He'd probably wonder why I didn't just use the "Iron Chef" method (meat cleaver).

wats wrong with you people? there cant be a problem so great that the only other option is death
well....... Ive I couldnt really breath and was just floating around helplessly with other ifsh picking on me......I think id be okay with being euthanized

Yes, there can...fish get illnesses and injuries that are mortal, too.
