, i have one on my 25 and it's does improve growth but its not as great as pressurized. I still use excel with mine and dont use the crappy lil packages that come with it. My advice would to be jus tto buy the ladder.

if you got that not at first. they want you to buy the mixes but you can just do your own diy after its gone.
You can build something like this for about the same amount as that setup. I have had no problems with mine and my growth has really improved.http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103611
So if it still costs the same, why wouldn't you get the one that is pre-made, looks better, is better insulated, and comes with the ladder for diffusion? That doesn't make any sense to me.
well simple diy co2 can be made for a lot cheaper then that setup.you can do what bkw1982 said and just buy the ladder. (if they sell just the ladder)
That's what I thought, Mg. However, the reasons Dbray was stating didn't make any sense to me. If it costs the same, why not go for the one that is better?
And they do sell just the ladder, on that site anyway.
